Relief of edema (inflammation, trauma)
This medication is used to reduce edema, especially swelling that occurs after trauma or surgery, and to alleviate inflammatory symptoms. It helps reduce pain and discomfort caused by inflammation, assisting in the patient's quick recovery. It effectively manages swelling and inflammation, improving daily life without disruption.
As bromelain, take 100 mg once, twice a day. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.
Children over 12 years should take the same dosage as adults.
This medication should not be taken by patients with severe blood coagulation disorders, such as hemophilia. Additionally, patients with severe liver disease or kidney disease, especially those undergoing dialysis, should not take this medication. Patients currently taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors should avoid using this medication together, as it may increase the risk of bleeding. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid taking this medication, as its safety has not been sufficiently established. Moreover, children under the age of 12 should not take this medication. Before taking this medication, if you are using antibiotics, especially tetracycline-class drugs, consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, so individuals allergic or sensitive to this component should take caution. If you experience allergic reactions or hypersensitivity reactions while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, gastrointestinal symptoms such as stomach pain or diarrhea may rarely occur, so it is advisable to consult a specialist if these symptoms arise. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children, and it must be kept in its original container to prevent loss of quality or improper use; ensure the lid is tightly closed.
