This medication helps calm gastrointestinal spasms and eliminate gas accumulated in the intestines. It is also used to relieve pain in the digestive system caused by abdominal distension.

How to take

Adult dose

1 capsule at a time, 2 to 3 times a day before meals.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by patients who have an allergic reaction to any of its ingredients or who have hypotension, and it is contraindicated for patients with severe impairment of bowel motility, such as paralytic ileus. This medication contains colors Yellow No. 4 and Yellow No. 5; caution should be exercised by patients who are allergic or have previously had an adverse reaction to these dyes. Rarely, allergic reactions such as skin rashes or itching may occur during treatment, and in severe cases, difficulty breathing or shock may arise; if any unusual symptoms occur, consult a physician immediately. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, and loss of appetite, and abnormalities in liver function or headaches, dizziness have been rarely reported. This medication may produce a positive result in doping tests, thus athletes should exercise caution and strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency. If unusual symptoms develop while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and inform your doctor or pharmacist, and also inform about any other medications being taken to prevent interactions. Pregnant or nursing women are advised to avoid using this medication as its safety profile is not well established. Use in children under 18 years of age is not recommended as the safety and efficacy of this medication have not been sufficiently verified in this age group. In case of overdose, symptoms like hypotension and atropine-like toxic symptoms may occur; seek appropriate medical treatment immediately. This medication should be stored in a place out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container is not advisable for quality maintenance and safety reasons.
