Precautions
Caution is required because administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily during the first three months of pregnancy, or to women who may become pregnant, may pose a risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. This medication contains a dye called Tartrazine (Yellow No. 5); individuals with allergies to this ingredient or a history of hypersensitivity should take it with caution. Do not take this medication if there has been an allergic reaction to any of its components, if you are an infant under 12 months of age, a patient with Wilson's disease, or if you have lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders. During the course of taking this medication, it is advisable not to take it concurrently with phosphate, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, antacids, and drugs such as levodopa. If you are undergoing treatment from a physician or have specific conditions, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is essential to consult a professional before taking this medication. If you experience any abnormal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin itching, dry skin, joint swelling, indigestion, diarrhea, rash, hair loss, hypotension, etc., while taking this medication, immediately discontinue use and consult a professional. Prolonged high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and certain vitamin components may cause neurological or hematological abnormalities, so caution is necessary. Excessive intake of vitamin A may increase the risk of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, so dosage must be strictly followed. This medication must be taken according to the specified dosage and method of administration, and care should be taken not to exceed supplemental doses since vitamin A can be sufficiently obtained through normal diet. While taking this medication, it is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, as this medication may color the urine yellow and affect the results of some tests. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place, tightly sealed.
