Treatment of chronic polyarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis (arthrosis, ankylosing spondylitis) and relief of inflammation and pain
This medication is used to treat inflammatory joint diseases such as chronic polyarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, arthrosis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It also alleviates painful swelling or inflammation resulting from trauma or surgery. Additionally, it is used as an adjunct in treating infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever. Overall, it is effective in reducing joint inflammation and pain and improving function. This medication assists in the improvement of the patient's daily life.
For dexibuprofen, take 300 mg orally 2 to 4 times a day. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen in one day.
This medication must be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist for individuals who regularly consume alcohol (more than three drinks daily) as it may cause gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may affect the cardiovascular system and increase the risk of myocardial infarction or stroke. Those with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors need to be especially cautious and monitor cardiovascular symptoms closely while taking this medication. This medication can cause serious issues like gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation. The risk increases for elderly patients or those taking it over a long period, so be vigilant about gastrointestinal symptoms and seek immediate treatment if abnormalities occur. Patients with serious conditions such as gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, severe heart failure, or hypertension should avoid taking this medication for safety. Concurrent use of this medication with aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and decrease efficacy, so they should not be taken together. During breastfeeding, this medication may pass into breast milk and cause adverse reactions in infants, so breastfeeding should be discontinued or medication halted. This medication may cause dizziness or fatigue, necessitating caution during driving or operating machinery. Individuals with blood abnormalities, liver or kidney diseases, hypertension, heart failure, or a history of hypersensitivity should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If serious symptoms such as shock, severe skin rash, difficulty breathing, liver dysfunction, kidney issues, or cardiovascular anomalies occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare staff. It is advised to take the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration and regular blood tests and liver/kidney function checks may be required. For pregnant women beyond six months of pregnancy, taking this medication may pose risks to the fetus, so it should not be taken, and women who are pregnant or planning pregnancy must consult before use. In cases of overdose, seek immediate treatment at a medical facility, as gastric lavage or dilution measures may be necessary. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, in a dry and cool place. Transferring to another container should be avoided as it can lead to accidents or degradation of quality.

Do not take this medication with aspirin, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high doses of methotrexate. Corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, coumarin anticoagulants, baclofen, immunosuppressants, thrombolytics, ticlopidine, antithrombotics, and increase in blood potassium levels.
This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to protect it from air and moisture. The storage temperature should be maintained between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. Avoid direct sunlight or high temperatures and keep out of the reach of children.
