Additionally, it aids in the treatment of infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever, thus assisting in recovery. It is utilized for various inflammatory diseases and pain relief, helping to improve patients' daily lives.

How to take

Adult dose

Administer 300 mg of dexibuprofen orally, 2 to 4 times a day. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen per day.

Precautions

This medication can cause gastric bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than 3 drinks of alcohol per day, so it is essential to consult with a doctor or pharmacist. This drug may impact the cardiovascular system, potentially increasing the risk of myocardial infarction or stroke, so patients with cardiovascular conditions or risk factors should be monitored closely. Furthermore, this drug can trigger severe adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, particularly posing higher risks for elderly patients or those on long-term treatment. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, heart failure, hypertension, etc., should not take this medication. Concurrent use with aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and reduce the drug’s efficacy, so co-administration should be avoided. During treatment, it would be advisable to discontinue breastfeeding or stop the medication, as dizziness or fatigue may occur, thus caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery. Individuals with blood disorders, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, hypertension, elderly patients, and pregnant women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this drug, and be aware of interactions with other medications. If symptoms such as shock, severe skin rashes, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver function abnormalities, or kidney function deterioration occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult with healthcare personnel.
