Improvement of food stagnation (stomach stagnation) and obesity
Food stagnation in a Yang deficiency constitution refers to a weakened digestive function leading to symptoms like indigestion or a heavy feeling in the stomach, while obesity indicates a feeling of fullness in the abdomen or body due to excessive food. This medication focuses on improving digestive function and restoring stomach health. Therefore, it is used for indigestion and abdominal distension in people with a Yang deficiency constitution.
Generally, adults should take 1 pouch (single dose) 3 times a day before or between meals.
This medication is designed for use only in individuals with a specific constitution known as Yang deficiency, and should not be taken by anyone else. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should avoid this medication due to the risk of preterm birth or miscarriage from the ingredient Paeonia lactiflora. Additionally, patients with genetic problems related to lactose (such as galactose intolerance, lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption) should not take this medication. Patients with digestive weakness or symptoms such as appetite loss, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea must take this medication carefully, as it may exacerbate their symptoms, necessitating caution. While taking this medication, gastrointestinal adverse reactions may occur, including appetite loss, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, so consulting with a physician or pharmacist is essential if such symptoms arise. If receiving treatment from a physician or licensed herbalist, it is crucial to consult with a professional before taking this medication. Dosage and administration must be adhered to according to the patient's symptoms, and particularly for children, supervision by a guardian is necessary. Consulting with a professional is also advisable for long-term use. Additionally, care must be taken to ensure that ingredients do not overlap when taking another herbal medication or natural remedy. If symptoms do not improve within a certain period, professionals should be consulted. Safety has not been thoroughly confirmed for children, and it should never be administered to infants under one year of age. Older adults may have diminished bodily functions, so careful monitoring of their condition and adjustment of dosage is needed while using this medication. This medication should be stored away from direct sunlight, in a cool place with low humidity, and tightly sealed after use. Furthermore, it must be kept out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container may lead to degradation of quality or misuse and should be avoided.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to protect it from air and moisture. A storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature is appropriate.
