This medication is used for various joint diseases such as chronic polyarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It also aids in alleviating pain, swelling, and inflammation occurring after trauma or surgery. This medication is used as an adjunct in treating infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever, effectively improving symptoms. Overall, it is used to reduce pain and inflammation related to joints, making daily life more comfortable for patients.
As dexibuprofen, 300 mg should be administered orally 2 to 4 times a day. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen per day.
Patients who regularly consume three or more alcoholic beverages daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication, as the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding may increase when taken with alcohol. This medication can affect the cardiovascular system, so individuals at risk for heart disease or stroke should use caution when taking it. Specifically, those with cardiovascular disease or risk factors should take this under medical supervision, and high doses should be avoided. This medication can impose a burden on the gastrointestinal tract, making it unsafe for individuals with a history of gastric ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding. Elderly patients or those at high risk for gastrointestinal disorders should exercise particular caution, and medical attention should be sought immediately if symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding occur during use. It is advisable not to combine this medication with aspirin or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug due to the increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. Additionally, it should not be taken with certain high-dose chemotherapy agents. It is recommended to avoid breastfeeding while taking this medication, and caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery, as dizziness or fatigue may occur. Long-term use at high doses may lead to headaches. Before taking this medication, individuals with blood disorders, liver or kidney diseases, high blood pressure, or heart failure must consult a healthcare provider, and their condition should be closely monitored during use. This medication may interact with several other drugs, so it is essential to consult a healthcare professional if other medications are being taken. Care should be taken, especially when combining it with anticoagulants, diuretics, lithium, immunosuppressants, etc. If severe skin rash, difficulty breathing, severe gastrointestinal symptoms, blood abnormalities, or similar symptoms occur while taking this medication, it should be stopped immediately, and medical advice should be sought. During pregnancy, especially after the sixth month, it should be avoided as it may affect the fetus, and women who are planning to become pregnant or could be pregnant should seek advice before taking it. In case of overdose, appropriate medical treatment should be sought immediately, and it should be stored out of reach of children, kept away from direct sunlight, and stored in a cool, dry place.

This medication should not be taken with aspirin, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high doses of methotrexate. Additionally, caution should be exercised when taking corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, coumarin anticoagulants (such as warfarin), baclofen, and immunosuppressants (cyclosporine, tacrolimus, sirolimus).
This medication should be stored in an airtight container and kept at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. This will help maintain its effectiveness and prevent deterioration.
