Patients with edema or those undergoing other treatments should also consult a professional before taking it. If symptoms like reduced urine volume, swelling of the face or limbs, heaviness of the eyelids, stiffness of the hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches occur during use, immediate discontinuation and consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is required. Long-term use may lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, and edema due to fluid retention in the body; therefore, regular monitoring of serum potassium levels is recommended. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or myopathy occur, discontinue use and inform a professional. Care should be taken when using this medicine together with potassium-containing medications or specific diuretics, as it may increase the risk of side effects. This medicine contains glycyrrhizin.
