Individuals with high blood pressure, older adults, patients with heart or kidney issues, those with edema, and currently receiving treatment from a physician should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If during use there is a decrease in urine output, swelling of the face, hands or feet, heaviness of the eyelids, stiffness of the hands, elevated blood pressure, or headache occurs, usage should be stopped immediately and consulted with a physician or pharmacist. Long-term use of licorice contained in this medication in amounts exceeding a certain limit may lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, elevated blood pressure, edema, and weight gain due to fluid retention, thus regular monitoring of the condition through blood tests is necessary. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, spasms, or paralysis occur, use should be discontinued, and a specialist should be consulted. Caution is required when taking this medication with potassium-containing preparations, licorice ingredients, and certain diuretics, as the risk of these side effects may increase.
