Adult dose

Typically, 25 to 30 pills for adults are taken 2 times a day before meals or in between meals with water or warm water.

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. The ingredient Paeoniae Radix Alba included in this medication may increase the risk of miscarriage or preterm birth. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney issues, edema, and elderly patients should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Especially for elderly patients, caution is necessary as their bodily functions may be reduced, and the dosage may need to be adjusted. Those receiving other treatments or with weak stomachs, poor appetite, or symptoms of nausea and vomiting should also consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication, as these symptoms may worsen. If urine output decreases, significant swelling of the face or extremities occurs, eyelids feel heavy, hands feel stiff, hypertension arises, or headaches develop while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional, as these could be signs of a side effect related to hyperaldosteronism. Additionally, if muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis symptoms occur, it may indicate muscle disease due to hypokalemia, and medical evaluation should be sought. If rash, redness, or itching occurs on the skin, or gastrointestinal symptoms such as poor appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, or diarrhea arise, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after about one month of use, it is advisable to consult with a doctor. This medication should be used with caution when taken with other medications containing potassium or licorice, as well as certain diuretics, due to the increased risk of side effects. Adhere strictly to the prescribed method of administration and dosage, and be careful not to overlap with other herbal medicines or natural products. When storing, keep away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place, and ensure to seal it tightly after use. It is also important to store it in a safe place out of reach of children.
