Individuals with high blood pressure, the elderly, those having heart or kidney problems, individuals with edema, and those currently receiving medical treatment must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If during the administration of this drug you experience a decrease in urine output, swelling in the face, hands, or feet, or heaviness of the eyelids, or if you have stiffness in your hands, an increase in blood pressure, or headaches, you should stop taking the medication immediately and consult a medical professional. Long-term use of this drug may cause hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, edema, and weight gain; therefore, serum potassium levels should be regularly checked, and if abnormalities are found, the medication should be discontinued. Symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis can occur due to hypokalemia, so if these occur, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor. Care should be taken when taking potassium-containing preparations, licorice-containing preparations, and specific diuretics as these can increase the likelihood of the aforementioned side effects. Side effects such as dry mouth or a bent tongue may occur during administration, so these symptoms should be reported to medical personnel. The glycyrrhizin component in this drug can induce aldosterone-like symptoms such as hypokalemia and increased blood pressure when taken in large amounts over an extended period, so caution is necessary. It is recommended not to use specific ingredients, Banha and Odu, together. When storing this medication, it should be kept in a sealed container away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place, and it must be securely closed after use.
