This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of colds including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults (15 years and older): 2 capsules per dose, 3 times a day, to be taken within 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. Acetaminophen included in this medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions; if a rash or allergic symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage of 4,000mg of acetaminophen, as taking this with other medications containing the same ingredient can lead to liver damage. The pseudoephedrine in this medication can rarely cause severe skin adverse reactions, so if fever or red spots, small blisters, etc. occur, discontinue use and consult a specialist. Individuals allergic to certain coloring agents should be cautious when taking this medication, and those who have previously experienced allergic reactions to this or similar medications should not take it. This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months old or those with certain genetic metabolic disorders. Additionally, it is safest not to take antitussives, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines concurrently while using this medication. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic tendencies or diseases of the liver, kidneys, or heart should consult a specialist before use. If adverse symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, or shortness of breath occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years old; if absolutely necessary, consult a physician. When using, strictly adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage, avoid long-term use, and refrain from alcohol consumption. Also, due to the possibility of drowsiness, caution should be taken when driving vehicles or operating machinery. This medication may cause muscle weakness or electrolyte imbalances when taken with specific diuretics or medications containing licorice. Finally, store this medication in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight, and do not transfer it to another container.

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormalities accompanied by cough and fever (interstitial pneumonia, asthma)
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes
