This medicine should not be used by individuals who are weak, have been coughing for a long time, are coughing up blood, or have inflammatory fever. Additionally, since this medicine contains lactose, individuals with genetic disorders related to lactose digestion should avoid using it. The glycyrrhizin component contained in this medicine may cause low potassium levels, high blood pressure, and symptoms such as swelling and weight gain if used for a prolonged period in excessive amounts. Care should be taken. This medicine should be stored in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight, and must be tightly sealed after use. It is also advisable not to transfer to a different container to maintain quality. Those with high blood pressure, the elderly, individuals with heart or kidney problems, those who are experiencing swelling, and those undergoing treatment with a physician should consult a specialist before taking this medicine. If the urine output decreases or symptoms such as swelling of the face, hands, and feet, heavy eyelids, or stiffness of the hands occur during use, or if high blood pressure or headaches develop, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a specialist. For long-term use, potassium levels in the blood should be monitored regularly, and if abnormalities are found, discontinue use. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis develop, stop using the medicine and consult a specialist. Caution is needed when taking potassium supplements, glycyrrhizin-containing medicines, or certain diuretics, as this increases the risk of hypokalemia and muscle-related side effects.
