Precautions

This medication can cause a serious lung condition called interstitial pneumonia, so if symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Individuals taking interferon agents, or those with liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, or severe liver dysfunction should not take this medication. Taking this medication with interferon agents increases the risk of interstitial pneumonia, therefore it should not be taken together. Persons with hypertension, heart or kidney disease, edema, those on other treatments, elderly individuals, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, children, individuals with very weak physical condition, or those with liver disease or a history of drug allergies should consult a healthcare professional before use. If symptoms such as facial or limb swelling, hypertension, muscle pain, or weakness occur during use, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate medical care. If gastrointestinal symptoms such as indigestion, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea, or skin reactions such as rash or itching occur, consult a healthcare professional. Liver dysfunction or jaundice symptoms may occur, so monitor your physical condition closely and discontinue use if abnormalities are noted. It is a principle not to use this medication for an extended period, and it is essential to adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage when taking it. Caution should be taken when using it with potassium-containing preparations or certain diuretics, as this may increase the risk of muscle-related side effects. When taken with other traditional medicines, it is important to verify that there are no overlapping ingredients. When storing, it should be kept away from direct sunlight in a cool and dry place, out of reach of children. Storing in the original container and sealing it can help maintain the quality of the medication.
