Adult dose

For adults, take one packet (2.4 grams) three times a day before meals or between meals.

This medication should not be taken by infants, breastfeeding women, pregnant women, or those who may become pregnant, as the Coptis ingredient in this product may increase the risk of miscarriage or premature birth. Patients with high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, or edema, as well as the elderly, should consult a professional before taking this medication. Additionally, those currently receiving other treatments or with weak stomachs, reduced appetite, nausea, or vomiting symptoms should also consult a professional before taking it. If symptoms such as decreased urine output, swelling of the face or extremities, heavy eyelids, hand stiffness, elevated blood pressure, or headache occur during the use of this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Also, if muscle weakness, limb spasms, or paralysis symptoms occur, use should be stopped. If gastrointestinal symptoms such as reduced appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea appear, consult a professional, and if symptoms do not improve after one month of use, discontinue use and seek advice. Caution is needed when taking potassium-containing preparations or medications that include licorice with certain diuretics, as there is a risk of hypokalemia or muscle problems. It is also important to consult a professional for long-term use, and the prescribed dosage and method must be strictly followed.
