How to take

Adult dose

As acyclofenac, take 100 mg twice a day every 12 hours. This medication should not be chewed or crushed; take it as is. Adjust dosage appropriately based on symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular side effects, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Precautions

This medication may lead to gastrointestinal bleeding if taken regularly by individuals who consume a lot of alcohol daily; therefore, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases; therefore, patients with risk factors such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and smoking should use it cautiously, and it is important to take it at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. This medication can cause severe gastrointestinal side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation; thus, individuals with a history of gastrointestinal diseases or the elderly should be particularly cautious. In cases of active peptic ulcer or bleeding, allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients, or a history of asthma or allergic reactions, this medication should not be used. Patients with poor kidney or liver function, heart failure, pregnant women in the late stage, and nursing mothers are advised not to take this medication for safety reasons. This medication may cause various side effects such as dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances, skin rashes, etc.; therefore, if symptoms occur, immediate consultation with healthcare personnel is required. During the intake of this medication, regular monitoring of blood pressure, liver function, kidney function, etc., is necessary, and especially hypertensive patients should closely observe changes in blood pressure. Due to numerous drug interactions, patients taking digoxin, anticoagulants, diabetes medications, diuretics, etc., must consult a physician.
