Temporary pain, dryness, redness, blurred vision, keratitis, flushing, photosensitivity, and other side effects in the eyes may occur, so if any abnormal symptoms appear, use should be immediately discontinued and a doctor consulted. It may interfere with blood coagulation, so patients with a risk of bleeding or those who have difficulty stopping a hemorrhage should be cautious when using this medication. When using multiple eye drops, they should be administered at least 5 minutes apart, and it is recommended to close the eyes or occlude the nasolacrimal duct after administration to reduce systemic absorption. This medication contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative, which can discolor soft contact lenses or cause eye inflammation. In the early and mid-stages of pregnancy, it should only be used for the minimum duration and dosage when absolutely necessary, and it should not be used after 6 months of pregnancy. In breastfeeding cases, it is safer to avoid use considering the effects on the infant. Safety for children has not been established, so it should be used cautiously in this population. This medication is for ophthalmic use only and should be applied carefully to avoid direct contact with the eye.
