Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop once, 1-3 times a day.

This medicine should not be used in certain patients. Firstly, patients with allergic reactions to this medication should not take it. Additionally, patients with abnormal thyroid function should not use this medicine. This medication is also not to be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women or children. Care should be taken to observe for side effects while using this medicine. After instillation in the eye, there may be a slight stinging or burning sensation, and occasionally, tear production may increase. This medicine contains iodine, which can cause hyperthyroidism due to excessive thyroid activation. People prone to acne may experience worsening of acne after using this medication. Individuals wearing contact lenses should remove their lenses before using this medicine. Lenses can be reapplied 30 minutes after instillation. This medication is intended for ophthalmic use only and should not be used for other purposes. Care should be taken to avoid direct contact of the tip of the bottle with the eye, and it is advisable not to share this medication with others to prevent contamination. After opening, do not use for more than 1 month, and discarded expired medicine. After instilling the medication, lightly press around the eyes for 1-2 minutes to minimize systemic absorption of the drug by blocking the tear ducts. This medicine should be kept out of reach of children and the cap must be closed tightly after use. It is best to store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Furthermore, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, it should not be transferred to another container.
