This medication is used to treat a variety of skin diseases, including eczema, dermatitis, chronic skin diseases, bolus impetigo on palms and soles, and psoriasis. In particular, ointments and creams can be applied directly to the skin to alleviate inflammation and improve itching, while solutions are effective in treating eczema and psoriasis that mainly occur on the scalp. The use of this medication can help relieve symptoms and improve skin health.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1-2 times a day and adjust according to symptoms. This medication is a potent corticosteroid, so do not use for more than 2 weeks continuously or apply more than 50g (50mL solution) per week.

It should be avoided in individuals who are allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients. Care should also be taken in patients with perforated eardrums, external otitis, skin ulcers, or severe burns, as using this medication may delay healing. Prolonged use may result in thinning of the skin, discoloration, or skin hemorrhage; therefore, long-term use should be avoided, and if symptoms appear, it is necessary to reduce the dosage or switch to another medication. Care should be taken when using this medication over large areas for extended periods or using occlusive dressings, as systemic effects may suppress hormonal function. When used around the eyes, care should be taken to avoid exposure to pressure increases, glaucoma, or cataracts. It is generally advised not to use this medication for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infections, but in unavoidable cases, it should be used in conjunction with antibiotics or antifungal agents. Caution is also required during breastfeeding as this medication may be transferred through breast milk, and it is advised not to apply it directly to the nipple and breast area. Pediatric patients have a higher risk of side effects due to better absorption of the medication relative to body surface area, so caution is especially warranted, particularly in infants under 24 months. The elderly are at a higher risk for side effects, so careful monitoring is necessary when using high doses or for prolonged periods. Overuse may lead to symptoms of hormone overdose, and the dosage should be gradually reduced according to a doctor's instructions. This medication should not be applied directly to the eyes or used on areas other than for its intended purpose. After application to the hands, they should be washed thoroughly, and occlusive dressings should only be used according to a doctor’s guidance.
