Improvement of esophageal reflux and gastrointestinal diseases (abdominal pain, indigestion), relief of functional gastrointestinal disorders including irritable bowel syndrome
This medication improves gastrointestinal issues such as gastroesophageal reflux and hiatal hernia, and helps alleviate gastrointestinal symptoms like abdominal pain, indigestion, nausea, and vomiting due to gastritis, duodenitis, and ulcers. It also reduces discomfort caused by irritable bowel syndrome or spastic colon. In children, it is used for the management of habitual vomiting and non-infectious bowel passage disturbances (constipation, diarrhea). Therefore, this medication effectively treats various gastrointestinal and intestinal disease symptoms, improving the quality of life for patients.
As trimetazidine maleate, take 100-200 mg three times a day before meals. Adjust dosage as appropriate based on age and symptoms.
This medication contains lactose; therefore, it should not be used by individuals with genetically determined galactose intolerance, lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. When taking this medication, gastrointestinal side effects such as constipation, diarrhea, abdominal gurgling, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, dry mouth, or numbness in the mouth may rarely occur. Additionally, there may be rare occurrences of palpitations, so caution is advised. Psychologically, symptoms like fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, listlessness, and headaches may rarely appear. It may affect liver function, and liver enzyme levels may increase, so attention to liver health is necessary. Also, there may be rare allergic reactions such as skin rashes; if these symptoms occur, the medication should be discontinued. The safety of this medication during pregnancy is not established; therefore, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only take it when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks. Lactating women should avoid taking this medication as its safety has not been established, and if it must be taken, it is advisable to stop breastfeeding.

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to avoid exposure to air and light, and it is safe to keep it at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius.
