I enjoy running and do it often, but recently, after a 32-kilometer long-distance run, I should have rested for a few days. Instead, I took only one day off and did threshold training the next day, which caused pain in my left greater trochanter, so I visited the hospital. I was diagnosed with femoral bursitis. I was examined while lying down, and the doctor checked my leg movement and gave me a kind, detailed explanation. I also received three injections, none of which contained steroids, followed by 20 minutes of electrotherapy. While lying down with the area warmed, I also received a massage. Then I had extracorporeal shock wave therapy on the painful area, and it hurt unpleasantly. It hurt so much that I was almost in tears. I received 4,000 pulses, and after about 10 minutes, the painful area felt slightly better. This is where I go when I get injured while running, and they always explain things kindly.

I always felt that the doctor was doing their best during my treatment. The nurses were also kind, and the hospital was clean and nice.
