I visited the Dohwabeom Neurology Clinic located on the 8th floor in front of the Cheonan Bus Terminal after hearing from a Naver doctor that the twitching in my mouth meant I needed to see a neurologist. First, I underwent some basic physical tests. They had me touch my nose with alternating hands, walk in a zigzag, and do various tests, and thankfully, they said there wasn't any major problem, so I didn't need a brain MRI. They also mentioned that if there were any issues with my thyroid, it could cause some parts of my body to tremble, so I went ahead and had some blood tests done. The next day, when I visited the hospital to get the results, I was relieved to find that everything was normal. I was prescribed medications called Almaljeong and Frexjeong, and after two weeks, I haven't experienced any twitching symptoms so far.

I came in for a consultation because my feet and calves felt cold even though it was summer, and I wondered if it was because of my age. The doctor told me that discomfort in the lower back can make your feet feel cold, so I didn’t need to worry, and that I’d be fine if I managed my blood sugar well. I felt reassured after the consultation and went home. Thank you.

Maybe it's due to my age, but I don't really have anything to worry about, yet I feel lethargic and depressed. Sometimes I wish time would just stop, and it's been tough to fall asleep, so I visited the mental health clinic at Sinbu-dong and shared my symptoms. I've taken sleep medication before, and I've been feeling down and sluggish for a few months now. I tried to exercise alone and fight through it, but when I told them that there was no change at all, they prescribed me a slightly weaker medication. After taking the prescribed medicine for 2-3 days, I felt like I was always drenched in rain, but that feeling started to improve a bit. I've been on it for 14 days now, and I no longer feel the urge for time to stop. I'm still struggling to fall asleep, so I take half a pill of the sleeping medication before bed, but soon, I need to graduate from this medication. I went to the neurologist because I couldn't sleep. I first went in 2021, so it's been about 4 years now. Due to some family issues, I was so shocked that I couldn't sleep, so I was prescribed a tranquilizer that I had to take every day to get some rest. Now that I've managed to forget everything and not think about it, I only need to take it about once a week if I can't sleep. The doctor advised me to try to stop taking it since long-term use isn't good, so I was able to reduce my intake. I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Won and thank the nurses who treated me like family.
