A few days ago, my lower back suddenly started hurting while I was lifting something, and I could barely move. I took some painkillers I had at home, but it got worse instead of improving. When I saw the neurosurgery doctor at Jeongseong Orthopedics and Neurosurgery, they said that the problem that had hurt me back in April had flared up again. They told me not to lift anything heavy for the time being, and to always wear a back brace when I do. They said it was because a muscle deep inside the sacrum area had become inflamed, and told me to take painkillers and receive other treatments, along with physical therapy about three times a week. They also gave me some medication, saying that if it still hurt, they would treat the painful area with an injection. Anyway, the doctors being very kind is definitely one of the best things about the clinic.

A few days ago, my wife hurt her hip while lifting a heavy container of kimchi and could barely move. She took some painkillers we had at home, and although she improved slightly at first, the pain got worse. When she saw the neurosurgery doctor at Jeongseong Orthopedics, they said the pain she had back in April had come back. They told her not to lift anything heavy for the time being, and that in the future she should wear a back brace when lifting heavy things. They said it was because the muscle deep inside the hip bone had become inflamed, and recommended traction therapy, IV fluids, painkillers, and other treatments, as well as physical therapy about three times a week. They also gave her medication and said that if it still hurt, they would treat the painful area with an injection. For now, we hope she recovers quickly with physical therapy. Anyway, one of the advantages of this hospital is that the doctors are very kind.

She took some painkillers we had at home, and although she felt slightly better at first, the pain got worse. When she saw the neurosurgery doctor at Jeongseong Orthopedic Clinic, she was told that the pain she had experienced last April had come back. They advised her not to lift anything heavy for the time being, and to wear a back support belt whenever she does have to lift something heavy in the future. They said it was caused by inflammation in a muscle deep inside the hip bone area, and recommended traction therapy, IV fluids, pain medication, and other treatments, along with physical therapy about three times a week. They also gave her medication and said that if the pain continued, they would treat the painful area with an injection. For now, we hope she recovers quickly with physical therapy. Anyway, one of the advantages of this hospital is that the doctors are very kind.

This time, my left-hand fingers were hurting quite a lot, so I made time to visit the clinic. I’ve been a regular patient at the orthopedic clinic for a long time, so they welcomed me warmly. After carefully examining my symptoms, they explained that this condition causes a lot of pain in the palm and would get better in about two weeks with treatment. They said it was caused by holding objects tightly in my hand for a long time, which led to inflammation in my palm, and that it would improve quickly with treatment. It’s also known as trigger finger syndrome. So today, I received physical therapy at the hospital. They told me that at home, I didn’t need to come back to the hospital—instead, I could fill a basin with hot water in the morning and evening, repeatedly make a fist and open my hand, and soak and exercise my fingers for about 10 minutes. I tried it, and it has gotten much better.

He said it was because a muscle deep inside the tailbone area had become inflamed, and told me to take painkillers and other medications and receive physical therapy about three times a week. He also gave me medication and said that if it still hurt, they would treat the painful area with an injection. Anyway, the doctors being very kind is a major advantage.

I think I've been going to Jeongseong Orthopedics for about 6 to 7 years now. Initially, I visited for a problem with my herniated disc, and the doctor was very kind, explaining everything and providing treatment. When I mentioned I couldn't get an MRI because I didn't have insurance, the doctor insisted that I needed it and offered a discount to get it done. Since last year, they've separated orthopedic and neurosurgery consultations. Last year, when my disc pain came back, I went to the orthopedics department, but the treatment didn't really help, so I asked if I could see a neurosurgeon instead, and they easily referred me to one. After receiving treatment from the neurosurgeon, I'm now almost fully recovered.

How lucky I am to have a great orthopedics clinic in my neighborhood... The wait time is long. But the doctor is kind, thorough, and provides accurate diagnoses and treatments, so I don't mind waiting for my appointment. I had ankle ligament repair surgery here before, and it was fantastic. Today, I went in the afternoon because my hand was hurting, and I waited for two hours. I expected the wait and brought my earbuds to listen to music.

Everyone is so kind that I always leave feeling good after my appointments. The physical therapist constantly checks the intensity while using the equipment, making sure the patient doesn't feel uncomfortable.

*I had a really bad strain, so I went to see the doctor based on a recommendation from a coworker. The X-ray results showed that it's not a strain; it’s actually tight muscles in my neck that are causing the pain.

The doctor's surgical skills (trained at Asan Medical Center) are great, and beyond being kind, he is genuinely caring towards his patients. The reputation around here is absolutely excellent!!!!!
