There's a gynecology office close to my neighborhood, which makes it convenient to visit. I had an Implanon birth control device inserted into my arm, and it's replaced every 2-3 years. It was convenient since it’s done in the arm, and while there can be side effects like weight gain, I didn’t have any, which was great. Also, I was able to have health screenings like a pelvic ultrasound and cervical cancer screening. The doctor explained everything well, and the staff were all very kind. The hospital is also incredibly clean. Gynecology visits can be intimidating, but it’s more comfortable and better that the doctor is female. When consulting about menopause symptoms, she was kind and explained everything well, making me feel at ease.
