When I asked the surgeon about it during a regular checkup, I was told that it would gradually get better. I even told myself not to rush and to wait, but I eventually found it difficult to say more

What does kindness from a nurse mean? I believe that true kindness goes beyond just a bright smile and assessing what is needed or what might be uncomfortable; it is about providing comfort. When waiting at the counter to receive a prescription, remarks like, 'Hey, can't you see your name here?' convey a sense of unkindness and poor character from the nurse. If you are a nurse, I would like to suggest that you take a moment to reflect on what true kindness in nursing is. Patients visiting the hospital are already in pain; I wonder if there is anything that can be done to put their minds at ease. It might be uncomfortable for them, so what do you think about having an eye for the unseen discomforts? How about not focusing only on what is visible? What is your thought on this, hospital staff?

I believe that true kindness goes beyond just offering a bright smile and attending to what is needed or uncomfortable; it truly consists of providing comfort. While waiting at the counter to receive my prescription, I heard the nurse say, 'Can’t you see your own name here?' From her tone, I felt that her demeanor was unkind and lacking in character. If I were a nurse, I would want to take a moment to reflect on what kindness really means in nursing. After all, those who come to the hospital are already in discomfort; shouldn’t we strive to provide peace to them? Would it be possible to develop an awareness of the invisible challenges that patients face? I suggest looking beyond just the visible aspects. What do you think, dear hospital staff?

Why does the nurse's tone seem unfriendly? I felt compelled to write this because it made me uncomfortable.
