After waiting, I received my appointment, and the doctor had me move my arm in various directions. I mentioned that it hurt especially when doing wrist extension, so we pinpointed the area of the pain by touching it with my hand. It was clear where it hurt when I pressed around the elbow, and I compared it to my other arm. After the examination, he asked if I had been lifting heavy items often recently and how much time I spend on the computer. I mentioned that I usually have a habit of moving delivery boxes or lifting the shopping basket with one hand, and he explained that there might be a chance I put repetitive strain on my elbow. After the appointment, I understood why the pain occurred, and it made me reflect on my usual posture and lifestyle habits.
