At Saem Urology Clinic in Seocho-gu, I’m sharing my experience of relaxed and calm treatment.

I found out that a part that had been filled with gold had come off, and inside I saw that a lot of my tooth was rotten. I don’t know how I didn't feel any pain. If I had, I would have started treatment sooner. On top of that, a cavity developed in the adjacent tooth, so one needed a crown and the other was suggested for an implant. Today, I went through scaling, cavity treatment, making the crown mold, extraction, and implant bone grafting with the screw part being inserted, all pretty smoothly. The total time, including waiting, was about two and a half hours. I've always avoided going to the dentist because I’m scared, but I was really pleased that the treatment went on with almost no pain, and the doctor explained clearly at every step what treatment was being done, which was great.

It’s a factory-style clinic, but I liked that there was no waiting after making an appointment. There were a lot of other patients, but the consultation was relatively quick! I also liked that they had everything set up in the powder room so you could brush your teeth! Going to the dentist can feel intimidating, but the prices are relatively affordable, and it was pretty good.

After seeing an ad for inexpensive implants on YouTube for the first time, I had a phone consultation, made an appointment, and went there. It was more than a two-hour trip from my home since the clinic was in Gangnam, so it was far and inconvenient, but I went hoping I could get treatment at an affordable price. When I arrived at the clinic, I explained everything to a female employee at the reception desk and asked where the person I had spoken to on the phone was. She said that person only handled phone consultations and wasn’t there, and that there was a separate consultation manager. Something felt uneasy from the beginning, but I went ahead and had X-rays taken first. I was told that after seeing the doctor, I should discuss the price estimate with the consultation manager, so I started with the X-rays. After the X-rays were taken, I waited, and then the doctor came and explained which areas needed treatment based on the images. After that, I was directed to the consultation manager. The consultation manager explained the prices and treatment process in detail and then suggested that I start treatment, but I had often heard that you should visit several dental clinics before making a decision, so I said I wanted to think about it and come back. However, there was some pressure to sign a treatment contract before leaving because the discount would not be available if I came back later. After I got home and thought about it, I didn’t feel that there had been overtreatment, but I also didn’t get the impression that they were trying to provide the minimum treatment necessary.

My cavity had gotten so bad that I was in pain, so I came here based on a friend's recommendation. There were quite a few patients, so I had to wait, but the staff was very kind and attentive. The doctor provided thorough and detailed explanations during the examination, which I really appreciated. Thank you!
