Since this clinic is known for having a very long wait, I went early and checked in. I checked in a little after 12:40, and around 1:50 they started seeing patients and told me there could be another 20–30 minute wait, so I waited. I finally went in for my consultation around 2:30, and they said it needed to be removed, applied numbing cream, and told me I had to wait about 30 minutes. I waited, but even after a little over 20 minutes had passed, they kept seeing other patients. When I asked about it, they said it wasn’t time yet and told me to wait longer, so I did. Then the doctor went off to perform another procedure. Even after waiting for quite a while, the doctor didn’t come, so I went back to ask again. They said it was a procedure that would take a long time. I said that since my child’s procedure would only take five minutes, shouldn’t they see my child first before going? Then they said, “Didn’t we tell you to wait 30 or 40 minutes after applying the numbing cream? Didn’t we say there could be a wait?” But I honestly couldn’t believe it—when exactly did they ever say that? They clearly told me to wait 30 minutes after applying the numbing cream, and when I checked in, they said I might have to wait 20–30 minutes. So I waited 30 minutes while they saw the patients ahead of me, and then I went in when it was my turn. But making me wait over an hour after applying the numbing cream is really infuriating. If that was the situation, then when I asked the first time, they should have explained that the doctor had started another procedure and it would take a while, and that because my child might be in pain, we would need to wait a little longer after applying the numbing cream. There aren’t many dermatology clinics worth going to in Jeonju, so I chose this one because it had relatively good reviews, but I’m never going back.

So friendly today...???? I only want to go to this dermatology clinic in Hongdae!

This is the dermatology clinic I go to often. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition, and it never really got better when I went to other places, but it has improved since I started going to Gwak Eun-hee Dermatology, so I’m happy. I do end up wasting a long time waiting at the clinic, but if my skin is going to improve this much, I don’t think it’s a waste. It gets better after I take the medication they prescribe for about two weeks.

The entire question and answer session lasted about a minute, and if the medical staff had informed me about the charges in advance, I wouldn't have even inquired. I think the medical billing is excessive.
