I picked up the oral medication, anti-inflammatory eye drops, and the prescribed artificial tears, and made sure to take and use them on schedule for several days. Sure enough, after taking the medicine and using the eye drops, the eyelid swelling and pain completely subsided after about two days. The artificial tears were also much cheaper with a prescription from the clinic than buying them over the counter at a pharmacy, and they kept my eyes much more moisturized, so I was very satisfied. This clinic reminded me once again that when you have a stye, going to the hospital early and getting medication prescribed is the way to go.
