Recently, I've been experiencing episodes where my face suddenly feels flushed and hot, and then it cools down again, making my daily life quite uncomfortable. Especially at night, the heat makes it hard for me to sleep, and during the day, I find myself sweating for no reason or feeling a tightness in my chest, which led me to visit the clinic. At first, I thought it was just simple fatigue, but after these symptoms kept recurring, I knew I had to go to the doctor. The clinic took a thorough look at my overall lifestyle patterns, not just my uncomfortable symptoms, but also my sleep quality, stress levels, and eating habits. They explained that menopause symptoms can manifest differently in each person, so it's important to comprehensively assess the current situation, which I really appreciated. After the consultation, they provided detailed guidance on treatment plans to manage my body’s condition, along with lifestyle management tips. They also explained what I should pay attention to in my everyday life and how to manage my condition in a very easy-to-understand way, which was really helpful. Most importantly, they answered all my questions thoughtfully and empathized with my uncomfortable symptoms, making me feel relaxed during the consultation. The atmosphere of the clinic was calm, and the staff were friendly, so I felt at ease during my entire visit. Unlike other places, the detailed explanations and their willingness to listen to the patient's story were particularly impressive. I think this is a great place for those who are struggling with menopause symptoms to seek advice.

Lately, I've been really busy and stressed, so I haven't been able to sleep at all. A little while ago, I fell out of bed one morning, and as soon as I woke up, my chest and side really hurt, and I got scared wondering if I had a problem with my ribs. I went to work, and even though it was the usual routine, the pain gradually increased. I took some Tylenol to manage it, but it was really tough, and since my workday was longer and the nearby clinics were closed, I did a frantic search. Thankfully, I found Hanyang Metro Orthopedics, which offers night consultations, and I was so relieved. I managed to catch a taxi and finally get my condition checked. My body was hurting, and I was mentally exhausted, but the doctor and nurses were thorough in their consultation, treated me kindly, and empathized with me. It was my first visit, and I felt really comforted. Luckily, there was nothing wrong with my ribs, but the doctor mentioned it would take a few days for the pain to subside, so I realized patience would be necessary. It was just a simple fall from bed, but this accident really made me understand how important it is to be careful. They prescribed a lot of medication, and while the pain has slightly reduced, I don’t think it will improve quickly. It seems like it will take a long time for the treatment to alleviate the issue. I’m really thankful for the good medication they prescribed. Above all, take care of your stress and live safely.

Lately, I’ve often had a burning sensation in my stomach, and whenever I swallow food or water, I keep feeling some discomfort from my throat down to my chest. At first, I thought it was just indigestion. Especially after meals, my stomach felt even more uncomfortable, and I sometimes felt acid coming back up, so it was difficult to just put up with it. I was worried there might be a problem with my esophagus, so I visited Internal Medicine for a consultation and had an endoscopy. I was quite nervous beforehand, but the procedure was more comfortable than I expected, and I was glad they explained the results in detail afterward. They said the inflammation in my esophagus was likely causing the symptoms of esophagitis, and explained that it was important to manage my usual eating and lifestyle habits as well. I normally don’t pay much attention to my health and tend to ignore discomfort, but after having the test this time, I felt that it was a good decision to get checked early. I’m going to make sure to take the prescribed medication and gradually change my lifestyle by cutting back on late-night meals and spicy or irritating foods. I felt reassured because they took such thorough care of me, from the endoscopy through explaining the results. If you’re worried about similar symptoms, I think it would be a good idea not to endure them for too long and get checked out.

This review is based on my personal experience. My husband had been complaining of discomfort around his heart, so we visited a cardiology clinic that recently opened near our home. I was worried whether it was from overworking because of his job lately or whether there was some underlying problem. He had been experiencing persistent heart palpitations and chest tightness, so we went in for a consultation. Central Heart Internal Medicine Clinic, a cardiology clinic in Seoul, is a one-minute walk from Exit 7 of Jamsil Station. It’s located on the third floor of the Starbucks building, so it’s easy to get to. Parking is also available in the underground parking lot in the building. We booked through Naver and visited first thing on Thursday, but there were many patients by the time we finished the tests, so I recommend making a reservation. It seems to have become well known because it was opened by a professor from Seoul Asan Hospital! The interior and facilities were clean and comfortable as well. Hours Mon 09:00-16:30 Tue 09:00-18:00 Wed 09:00-18:00 Thu 09:00-18:00 Fri 09:00-18:00 Sat 09:00-13:00 Sun Closed B.T. 13:00-14:00 The check-in process wasn’t complicated, and the staff were friendly too. The waiting area was spacious and comfortable, so it was nice to sit there. They also have an examination room equipped for heart disease testing. It felt like the heart-related tests were being carried out in a very organized way. After his consultation, my husband had an electrocardiogram and an echocardiogram. Unlike at a university hospital, he was able to have them done right away without waiting, which was great. The equipment looked good, and the facilities were comfortable too—very nice. I felt a little self-conscious because we had to undress before the tests, but the changing rooms were managed separately for men and women. Most of all, disposable gowns were provided, so I was satisfied with the hygiene aspect. There were also photos posted showing how to put on the disposable gown, so it was easy to follow alongㅎㅎ The echocardiogram itself was less uncomfortable than I expected, and I liked that they explained his current condition during the test. The doctor didn’t make it feel like he was simply trying to finish the test quickly. Instead, he carefully and thoroughly checked everything, and he explained the things we were curious about in detail, which made me feel reassured. Today, he explained that the test results did not appear to show any major problems, but that it would be good to monitor these symptoms regularly. He also said that if the palpitations or chest tightness came back repeatedly, or if discomfort developed during exercise, we could consider additional tests later on. Since symptoms like heart palpitations and chest tightness were new to us, I had been feeling very anxious without knowing what was going on. After checking his current condition through the tests and hearing the explanation, I felt much more at ease. If you’re worried about similar symptoms, rather than worrying too much, I think it could be helpful to get an accurate examination at least once. This is an honest review based on a consultation and tests that we paid for ourselves, with no sponsorship. If you have symptoms, be sure to consult a specialist!

Lately, I’ve been feeling increasingly anxious and restless in my daily life, and even though there’s nothing serious going on, these anxious thoughts keep repeating, making me feel overwhelmed. That's why I decided to visit the clinic. It was my first time seeing a psychiatrist, and I was nervous, but the calm and quiet atmosphere from the moment I checked in helped me relax a bit. In the consultation room, the doctor really listened to my story without interrupting. They asked in detail when my impatience started, how my body reacts when anxiety hits, and even about my sleep patterns and lifestyle, which I appreciated. They didn't just jump to prescribing medication; they explained that my current state reflects an early stage of anxiety disorder in an easy-to-understand way. The treatment focused mainly on counseling, and they prescribed a very minimal dose of anti-anxiety medication just as needed. I had some fears about medication, but the doctor clearly explained why this dosage, how long to take it, and when to stop, which built my trust. They also taught me breathing techniques and ways to organize my thoughts that I could practice at home, which was really helpful. After a few days of treatment, I felt that the tightness in my chest was easing, and I noticed my thoughts slowing down, bringing a sense of calm. The reason I feel this clinic is better than others is because they treat you like a person. The quiet environment that respects privacy and a treatment approach that isn’t excessive were particularly satisfying. I would recommend this place to anyone struggling with anxiety or impatience.

Previously, I had my women's checkup done at an OB-GYN, but when I was looking for a specialized breast clinic, I found this one and visited for the first time. When I called in November 2025, they said it was hard to get an appointment on the same day, and the earliest appointment available was in January, so I made a reservation and waited. When I arrived at the clinic, it was a reservation system, so there were only a couple of customers who had appointments, and it seemed quite quiet. They don’t see walk-in patients, so I recommend making an appointment.

In the past few weeks, I have been feeling a burning sensation in the center of my chest along with acid reflux symptoms, which has been uncomfortable for my daily life. I noticed that the symptoms worsened after meals and at night, leading me to think it might not just be a simple digestive issue. To get an accurate diagnosis, I decided to visit the Jang Il-joong Internal Medicine Clinic. The clinic had a generally quiet and calming atmosphere. Although the waiting area wasn't very spacious, it was tidy, and the patient flow was straightforward, allowing me to wait for my consultation without discomfort. The registration process was quick, so the wait time wasn't long. I was diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The doctor took the time to thoroughly check the timing of my symptoms, my eating habits, and even my sleeping position, then explained the principles behind esophageal inflammation in an easy-to-understand way. The treatment plan focused on medication, and I received clear guidance on the duration of medication and when to expect symptom relief. Additionally, the doctor discussed lifestyle management methods like adjusting meal times and avoiding spicy foods, which helped reduce the burden of treatment. Throughout the consultation, the doctor remained calm and provided realistic explanations, avoiding unnecessary tests or treatments, which made me trust him more. He answered my questions patiently, which helped alleviate my anxiety as a patient. Accessing the clinic via public transport was relatively easy, and the surrounding environment was uncomplicated, making my visit smooth. Overall, the flow of the consultation was stable and the explanations were clear, so I believe this is a clinic I would want to return to if I were struggling with reflux symptoms.

I was doing fine without any special discomfort, but one day I started feeling bloated after meals. I wasn't eating a lot, but I would quickly feel full, and after dinner, I often felt so uncomfortable that I had to go for a walk. I thought it would be okay after a few days, but the symptoms kept repeating, so I went to see a doctor. During the consultation, I first talked about my recent lifestyle. I frequently worked late, which made my meal times irregular, and I often ate my meals quickly. The doctor asked about when the symptoms first appeared and at what times I felt the most discomfort, along with questions about changes in my eating habits and my sleep. Next, they checked my abdomen and chest sounds with a stethoscope and had me lie down for an abdominal exam. They pressed on various areas of my stomach to see if there was any pain and also looked into any discomfort around my solar plexus. They continued asking questions about any recent diarrhea or constipation and if I had experienced any heartburn. After the examination, the doctor explained that there were no immediate concerns suggesting an emergency and mentioned that irregular eating and excessive stress could be contributing factors. I received instructions on how to take the prescribed medication and was advised to keep my meal times consistent and eat slowly for the time being. It was great that I could check not only the medication but also my recent lifestyle habits, and after the consultation, I felt satisfied as it helped me understand my current condition better.

A few days ago, I started feeling physically uncomfortable in a way that was different from usual, so I visited Internal Medicine. After arriving at the hospital, I checked in, explained the symptoms that were bothering me, and waited. Once I entered the examination room, I was first asked when the symptoms had started and what time of day I felt the discomfort most. They also asked whether I was taking any regular medications and whether I had experienced similar symptoms recently. After that, my blood pressure and temperature were checked, and I had my consultation. The doctor asked a few additional questions about the symptoms I had described. While listening to my chest and back with a stethoscope, the doctor also asked whether I had any discomfort when breathing. I had mentioned that I was also experiencing discomfort around my abdomen, so that area was pressed to check whether there was any pain or discomfort. During the consultation, I explained the symptoms I had usually been experiencing again, and the doctor explained what could be determined about my current condition. Since some tests were needed, I received instructions and underwent them. Afterward, the results were reviewed with me, and I was told what I should pay attention to at that point. I also asked about the things I was curious about and was able to get answers based on the consultation. After the consultation, I was prescribed medication, so I confirmed how and how often to take it. I was also told what to do if my symptoms did not improve right away or became uncomfortable again, and then I went home. This was not simply a visit where I described my symptoms and received medication; based on what I told them, they personally checked several things, conducted the necessary tests, and explained the results and situation to me.

Recently, I've been feeling bloated often and have had a persistent discomfort in my upper abdomen. On days when I skip breakfast or drink coffee, the nausea worsens, and at night, I sometimes have discomfort that reaches up to my chest, causing sleepless nights. I initially brushed it off as simple fatigue, but when the symptoms kept recurring, I decided to visit the Sinlim Yonsei Internal Medicine Clinic. After arriving, I filled out a questionnaire and received an examination. The doctor carefully asked about when the symptoms began, my eating habits, and any stress factors, and after the examination, I was diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease and functional dyspepsia. I had only thought it was simple gastritis, but when I heard how much my lifestyle was affecting it, I nodded in agreement. The treatment process started with prescriptions for proton pump inhibitors and medications to regulate gastric motility. They also guided me on lifestyle changes like avoiding late-night snacks, reducing caffeine intake, and moderating my eating speed. They explained when I could expect improvements and what to do if the condition worsened, which helped alleviate my anxiety. After two weeks, the plan was to reassess and adjust the medication, which made me trust them further. The clinic itself felt clean and organized overall. It had a calm atmosphere typical of internal medicine, so I felt relatively comfortable during the waiting time. The layout was simple, making navigation straightforward, and both the registration and payment processes were quick. The doctor had a calm demeanor and a logical style of explaining things. I was impressed by how they presented my current state realistically without exaggeration. They answered my questions one by one without any signs of annoyance, which built my trust. Overall, I got the impression of an internal medicine clinic that proceeds with necessary treatments calmly, without unnecessary tests. If you're struggling with gastrointestinal symptoms or chronic digestive issues, I feel it's worth visiting at least once.

Recently, with work stress and personal worries piling up, I've started experiencing heart palpitations at night, and all sorts of racing thoughts began to creep in. At first, I thought, 'This will pass in a few days,' but before I knew it, I spent weeks tossing and turning all night, only managing to sleep for an hour or two before waking up again. With the lack of sleep, I felt dazed all day, became more sensitive to small things, and fell into a vicious cycle of increasing anxiety, which eventually led me to visit a hospital. It was my first time in a psychiatric clinic, and honestly, I felt a bit nervous and scared before even reaching the door. However, as soon as I stepped into the hospital, the cozy and quiet cafe-like atmosphere made me feel a bit more at ease. The consultation with the doctor was warmer and more comfortable than I expected. I found great comfort in the way they listened attentively to my story without rushing me, discussing the causes of my anxiety and sleep patterns. The doctor explained kindly that my current insomnia wasn’t due to a lack of willpower, but rather that I was in a state of over-activation in my nervous system due to ongoing stress. During the treatment process, rather than just prescribing strong sleeping pills, the doctor carefully adjusted medication tailored to my needs, which helped alleviate my daytime anxiety and included sleep-inducing drugs that had fewer side effects and lower potential for dependence. I also received guidance on cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and sleep hygiene practices that I could implement in my daily life. About two weeks after changing my lifestyle according to the medication and recommendations, the suffocating anxiety I used to feel when lying down at night significantly decreased. Nowadays, I can sleep deeply for over six hours without waking up in between, and I’ve naturally regained my energy during the day. I often wonder why I suffered alone for so long instead of seeking help sooner. If there are others like me who find nights scary due to anxiety and insomnia, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting without hesitation.

I had a terrible cold and body aches, so I went to Samseung Hospital in Gimhae. They told me to get admitted, but I said I was in too much pain. I asked for a CT scan and requested pain relief injections first, which I got, and then I went home to prepare for my admission. I went to "Good Morning Hospital" in Bunseong-dong, Gimhae. Since I hadn't been to a hospital at all due to the treatment from Dr. Gu Jin-ha in the past, I thought I might have COVID symptoms. During the consultation, they suspected lung cancer and told me to go to a large hospital. I had lung cancer surgery for stage 3 on October 18, 2022. So, I got admitted to Good Morning Hospital to address my cold symptoms with Dr. Gu Jin-ha. For cancer patients, protein intake is crucial, so I asked the nutritionist if they could provide me with two eggs a day. I offered to buy the eggs myself if they couldn’t supply them, asking if they could just boil them for me, and they said if I brought them, they'd boil them for me. I then told the nurse about this and asked where I could buy eggs. After a while, the nurse informed me that they wouldn’t give me any. The hospital has a duty to ensure that patients with cancer experience as little pain as possible through medications and injections. But no matter how important the shots and medicines are for the patient, if the body can’t support it, isn't it worthless? I felt a bit better for a day or two, but then I had coughing, phlegm, and it felt like my nose was transitioning to my throat, making it hard to swallow. Even if Dr. Gu Jin-ha's prescriptions are good, it seems like my condition is worsening due to the nurses’ and nutritionists’ lack of consideration, which brings me to tears. I know that cancer patients need to be particularly careful about catching colds, and I took extra precautions, but my condition worsened, leading me to the hospital. Especially since I am a cancer patient, I need to take in protein daily. When I asked the nurses to boil some eggs for me, one nurse outright refused, saying that if I was a cancer patient, I should go to a treatment facility instead of being there. That hurt my heart even more. I posted this to express how I wish the medical staff would consider the needs of the patients a bit more. I want to express my deep gratitude to Dr. Gu Jin-ha and say I have even more respect for him as a "famous doctor." I'm always fighting against what has been given to me!!!!!!!

I've suffered from rhinitis and sinusitis for my entire life, and the changing seasons were terrifying for me. I had to live with tissues all the time, and I couldn't get a good night's sleep due to nasal congestion, leading to chronic fatigue. I visited several hospitals, tried medication, and used sprays, but they were only temporary solutions. Then, I visited this ENT clinic, known for surgical treatment and addressing root causes. During my first visit, I had allergy tests, a nasal endoscopy, and a CT scan, and I found out that my nasal structure was severely deviated and my mucosa was hypertrophied. The doctor explained the structural problems inside my nose with visual aids, clearly stating why medication alone had limitations. I was scared when they said surgery was necessary, but after hearing about their extensive clinical experience and latest surgical techniques, I felt reassured. The nerves I felt on the day of surgery quickly faded away thanks to the kind attention of the nurses. The surgery was done very meticulously under local anesthesia, and the doctor kept checking to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. The pain wasn't as bad as I expected, probably because of advancements in technology, and the surgery time was short, which reduced the physical burden. Even the cotton used for hemostasis afterward was made from a special material that minimized pain for the patient, showing the hospital's efforts to ease patient suffering. About a week after surgery, when they removed the cotton from my nose, I experienced the wonder of breathing through my nose for the first time in my life. The refreshing air entering deeply made me feel clear-headed. During the aftercare process, the doctor meticulously checked to ensure my nasal mucosa was healing well, and he demonstrated how to wash my nose and manage my environment to prevent recurrence of rhinitis. Now, I no longer need to carry a ton of tissues in my bag. I no longer wake up with a sore throat from sleeping with my mouth open, and I can sleep deeply, bringing back vitality to my life. The facilities are always clean, and the wait times are well-managed, making it an ideal environment for busy professionals. I'm grateful to all the medical staff who gave new life to my nose.

I'm leaving a review after an appointment at the pediatrics clinic for my child’s sore throat. My child had been saying their throat hurt and was coughing a bit since morning, so I thought it might be the early stages of a cold and immediately visited the local pediatrics clinic. There wasn’t a high fever, but they said their throat felt scratchy and hurt when swallowing, which worried me. When we arrived at the clinic, there were quite a few patients waiting, probably because it was a weekday morning, but I was seen sooner than I expected. Since it’s a clinic just for kids, the interior was bright and neat, and there were toys and books available to help keep the child relaxed. When we entered the examination room, the doctor first asked detailed questions about my child's condition. They calmly asked when the symptoms started, if there was coughing or a runny nose, and checked the temperature. Then, they examined the child’s throat and listened to their lungs with a stethoscope. The throat was a bit red and swollen, which the doctor explained as the early stage of a sore throat. Fortunately, there was no severe inflammation in the tonsils, and the lung sounds were clear, which made me feel a bit relieved. The doctor explained that nowadays the symptoms of colds, flu, and COVID-19 are similar, which makes parents more anxious, but this seemed to be a typical case of a viral cold. The doctor also detailed the appropriate medication for my child. They prescribed a cough suppressant, a throat inflammation reducer, and another medication to help control potential runny nose symptoms in a syrup form, which is easier for kids to take. They also gave tips for managing at home, such as encouraging them to drink plenty of water and avoiding very cold or spicy foods. The doctor mentioned that if the air is dry, it can make the throat hurt more, so using a humidifier or making sure they drink warm water frequently would help. After getting the medication from the pharmacy and coming home, thankfully the child took it without any resistance. On the first day, they still had a bit of coughing, but by the next day, they reported that their throat hurt less and the cough was gradually decreasing. By following the doctor's advice to drink warm water often and letting the child rest, recovery was quick. When your child is sick, it makes parents feel anxious, but the detailed explanations and kind care at the pediatric office really helped ease my mind. Overall, I was very satisfied with this visit to the pediatrics office. When my child is sick, the most important thing is to quickly check their condition and receive appropriate treatment. I particularly liked that this clinic approaches children kindly, so they don’t feel scared. Even after the visit, my child said, 'The doctor was kind.' I believe this is a place I can trust and return to whenever my child has a cold or other symptoms. While a sore throat is common, letting it go might lead to coughing or bronchitis, so I think it’s beneficial to visit a pediatrics office at the onset of symptoms. I recommend that parents get their child checked at the beginning instead of brushing it off.

I've been really worried about my child's skin lately. Because my baby's skin is so sensitive, with atopic dermatitis and extreme dryness, my heart sinks whenever even the slightest rash appears. I was worried about managing the atopic dermatitis, and I also wanted to have the ectopic Mongolian spot my baby already had checked, so I visited [Remember Dermatology Clinic Pyeongtaek Godeok Branch] on a friend's recommendation. To give you the conclusion first, I was so impressed that I honestly want to spread the word to all the moms around me! • Remember Dermatology Clinic Pyeongtaek Godeok Branch • Address: Woosung Godeok Tower, 200-4 Godeokjungang-ro, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do 4th floor • Phone number: 031-611-1070 • Hours: • Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 09:30 ~ 19:00 (Lunch break 13:00 ~ 14:00) • Saturday: 09:00 ~ 14:00 (No lunch break on Saturdays) • Closed: Wednesdays, Sundays, and public holidays • Parking: Parking is available in the underground parking lot of Woosung Godeok Tower (plenty of parking spaces) (They are open during weeks that include a public holiday, even if it is Wednesday, so I recommend checking the website before visiting!) Tips for getting seen the same day without an appointment! Since my baby's condition can be unpredictable, it's always difficult to make a hospital appointment! I made the decision to go in a hurry and didn't have time to make an appointment, so I left home anxiously wondering, "What if the wait is really long?" They officially open at 9:30 a.m., but the doors were already open at 9:10 a.m., so I was able to register right away! Thanks to arriving early, we didn't have to wait long, and it was soon our baby's turn to be seen. Waiting at a hospital with a child can really work up a sweat, so I felt great from the very beginning. When you get off the elevator on the 4th floor, the dermatology clinic is right there. • Spacious and comfortable interior: The clinic is roomy and has an open feel, so it didn't feel cramped at all even with a child. • Relaxing waiting atmosphere: Since there was plenty of space, we were able to wait comfortably in a pleasant environment! ZERO overtreatment! A wonderfully kind consultation with the director When my baby's skin consultation began, the director spoke with us very kindly! My child had not only atopic dermatitis but also an ectopic Mongolian spot. Honestly, there are quite a few hospitals these days that blindly recommend laser treatments or unnecessary procedures just to make money, right? But the director clearly explained, "Since your child currently has atopic dermatitis, we should not proceed with laser treatment right now." Rather than pushing ahead with treatment, the director sincerely guided us toward only the care that was truly necessary for our child's current skin condition. I completely trust them... It was a moment I was genuinely grateful for because the director understood a mother's feelings so well. (I saw a negative Naver review saying they do that to make money, but personally, not at all..? I really don't think they overtreat.) Plenty of spacious parking When you're traveling with a baby, narrow parking spaces make it so hard to get your child out of the stroller or car seat, right? Remember Dermatology Clinic Pyeongtaek Godeok Branch has plenty of spacious parking inside the building, so even inexperienced drivers can park comfortably. Not having to worry about parking is also a really big advantage! Overall thoughts & summary • An honest place that provides exactly the care you need without squeezing you into unnecessary treatments! • They provide clear and kind consultations about children's skin problems (atopic dermatitis, Mongolian spots, etc.). • Convenient parking, and registration is available before opening, which can reduce the waiting time ! For anyone near Godeok, Pyeongtaek, who is worried about their baby's dermatitis or other skin conditions, I highly recommend 'Remember Dermatology Clinic Pyeongtaek Godeok Branch'! From now on, I'm definitely planning to stick with this place for all of my baby's dermatology visits.

A few days ago, I started hearing a crunching sound in my ear. I kept putting up with it, telling myself, “It’ll probably get better,” but it was so uncomfortable that I could still hear it before going to bed. So I took some time off on Friday and searched for an ENT clinic near Sanggye Station. There were lots of comments saying the doctor was unfriendly, and quite a few people said they had even gotten into an argument there. I started laughing as I read the reviews. Seriously, there are still clinics like this these days?! But after slowly reading through quite a few reviews one by one, the conclusion was that the doctor may be unfriendly, but is very good at diagnosing and treating people! Oh, I see~ Isn’t that better than someone who’s friendly but not very good at their job?! (Am I actually a pretty positive person?!) I thought I had to experience this for myself, so I went in. There were two front-desk staff members, and perhaps because of all the reviews saying they were unfriendly(?) there were no other patients at all. (Hey... you two are getting paid properly, right?) The clinic was in an old building, but the inside was quite clean. After I checked in, I was called into the exam room! Finally! My heart was pounding! I wondered, “They’re not going to say, ‘What are you here for?!’ the moment I walk in, are they?” With curiosity and fear in my heart (I’m an introvert, after all), I entered the exam room.!! The doctor was wearing a mask, as an ENT specialist should! (This is really basic, but there are quite a few ENT doctors who don’t do this.) The doctor asked me various questions and explained my symptoms. Huh? They weren’t unfriendly at all? I asked a few questions about things I was curious about. The doctor explained everything calmly and clearly. What on earth had the people who said in their reviews that the doctor snapped at them actually asked? Did they ask something like, “But I heard it’s like this on the internet”? When patients ask questions like that, I honestly want to go in there and smack them upside the head. At this point, I almost want to hear both sides of the story. Is their standard for “friendly” based on pediatricians? Do they think someone is unfriendly just because they don’t smile, greet you warmly, and chat with you? I really don’t get it. By my standards as an introvert, I didn’t feel that the doctor was unfriendly at all. If extremely unfriendly is -5 and extremely friendly is +5, I’d rate the doctor’s friendliness at about +1. The fact that the doctor took the time to calmly answer the questions I had definitely earns a +1 for friendliness. People who know, know this, but people who had a good experience usually don’t write reviews. Most of the people who write reviews are those who were dissatisfied or felt that things didn’t meet their standards. That’s why there are many people who simply leave five stars, but most of the people who actually write something leave negative reviews. If you let those negative reviews sway you and take this clinic off your list of places to visit, in my personal opinion, you’ll be missing out on a pretty valuable opportunity. Rather than going to a clinic packed with elderly people who come to ENT clinics for every little cough or runny nose, where even the doctor and front-desk staff are friendly but you have to wait an hour just to be seen, a clinic with no waiting patients and a specialist who examines you thoroughly and efficiently is much more accessible to me. I thought I’d go somewhere else next time if today’s visit wasn’t great, but I plan to come back here again. If anyone saw the negative comments and thought, “Oh, maybe I shouldn’t go there,” I recommend giving it a try at least once, even if you have to take a chance. There may not be a staff member or doctor who greets you with a bright smile and says, “Welcome!” but there is a doctor who is quick, makes you feel comfortable, and lets you ask everything you’re curious about. Go here! If your body and your time are precious to you!
