Since Choi Byeong-guk Internal Medicine was close to home and seemed like a good fit for me, I decided to visit there first. They’re always so kind that I never feel uncomfortable going in. The doctor kindly told me it seemed like muscle pain and that I shouldn’t worry too much. He also said that since it was on the right side and not near the heart, I probably didn’t need to be too concerned, which was a huge relief. When I told him the pain was severe, he gave me one injection and prescribed four days’ worth of medication, advising me to come back if it still hurt a lot after taking it. I expected it to improve quickly, but it didn’t get much better during those four days, so I worried that it might be another condition. However, on the fourth day, it improved a lot, and I was reminded once again that Dr. Choi is truly very good at what he does.

Since starting treatment, my sleep has gradually stabilized, and the anxiety attacks that used to come without warning have noticeably decreased. Most importantly, the burden of having to face these symptoms alone has lessened, providing me with significant psychological relief. The clinic is conveniently located for public transportation, easily reachable on foot from the subway station, making it less of a burden to visit regularly. Overall, my experience with the consultations, environment, and transportation was very satisfying.
