Lately, whenever I take pictures, I feel like my jawline looks wider and less defined than it used to, so I started considering a lifting treatment. Surgery felt like too much, and I wasn’t ready to commit to dermal filler either, so I decided to start with InMode, which seemed like a relatively easy treatment to try. I made an appointment and visited the clinic, and on a weekday, the wait wasn’t very long. After checking in, I received some brief instructions, washed my face, and waited. The clinic was generally clean, and because patients were processed fairly quickly, it didn’t feel overly hectic. During the consultation, they looked at my face shape and fat distribution and explained why my jawline looked less defined. They didn’t make me feel like they were pushing various treatments, and they also explained what I could realistically expect from InMode, as well as its limitations, which made it easy to understand. Before the treatment, they cleansed my face again, applied gel, and started right away. The treatment was done by rolling the device over different areas. I felt a warm sensation building up, followed by occasional brief zapping sensations. The intensity felt a little stronger around my jawline and under my chin, but it wasn’t unbearable. The treatment itself felt shorter than I expected. Immediately afterward, my face was slightly red overall and still felt warm. It also felt a little numb and tingly to the touch, but there was no severe pain. I received a brief soothing treatment at the end and then left. The redness gradually subsided on the way home, and by the evening, it was barely noticeable. The next day, I could wash my face and wear makeup as usual, and it didn’t significantly interfere with my daily life. The results weren’t immediately obvious, but after 2–3 days, my jawline felt slightly more defined. Especially from the side, the line seemed a little sharper. Overall, rather than expecting a major change from just one session, I felt that the results would become more noticeable with several consistent treatments. It was a good treatment to start with without feeling too much pressure, and I think I’ll wait to see how long it lasts and how the changes develop before deciding whether to get more sessions.

I finally made it back to Orseyun Clinic, a dermatology clinic near Gangnam Station, for a facial treatment after what felt like forever. The cozy atmosphere and warm interior immediately gave it a private, intimate feel rather than the typical factory-style clinic. Since I had made an appointment, I didn’t have to wait long! While waiting and watching the doctor who appears on TV, I had my consultation with him. I really appreciated how thoughtful and thorough he was about what I actually needed, without recommending unnecessary treatments. I also looked at before-and-after photos of people who had received treatments there, and the results were so clearly different that I wanted to try everything. After discussing InMode and Liftera, I decided to go with Liftera. They told me that since the anesthesia hadn’t completely worn off yet, I might feel some tingling, slight swelling, and gradually increasing warmth, and they also explained the precautions I needed to take. After getting the lifting treatment, I could really feel that my skin elasticity had improved compared to before, which reminded me once again how important regular care is.

I just had armpit laser hair removal + 2cc of Rizeban + 300 shots of Shurink. I originally intended to get InMode, but after the consultation, they said my face has a lot of fat and no prominent cheekbones, so I was recommended Juvellook because it looked like I was sagging. It wasn't the procedure I had in mind, so I decided to consider that for next time. I was also thinking of Rejuran, and since Rizeban was on sale with similar ingredients and less pain, I opted for Rizeban. The armpit hair removal was only 500 won, but still, they could at least tell me to close my eyes while they were shooting the laser... lol They told me to raise my arm, but then just shot it without any warning, which wasn't a great feeling... ^^ The doctor performing the procedure wore protective goggles, and even though it was only for a moment, I wondered why they didn’t say anything to me. I thought it was probably because it was so cheap. The staff for Shurink and Rizeban were reasonably friendly during the procedures. Rizeban... they said it was less painful than Rejuran healer, but it hurt so much that I plan to avoid it in my life moving forward. Haha. If you're sensitive to pain, spend a little more on HB.

I had my first session of Levinas. My concerns were dull skin tone, lingering blemishes, and occasional redness. During the consultation, the doctor assessed my skin condition (dry combination, highly sensitive) and planned to start with a low energy level, gradually increasing it. The treatment involved applying a cool gel after cleansing, scanning my entire face in toning mode, and then focusing energy on areas where blemishes were prominent. The pain felt like a slight stinging warmth, and throughout the procedure, the nurse monitored my skin's reaction and provided cooling to minimize any discomfort. Immediately after the treatment, I experienced slight redness and tightness, but most of it subsided within 2-3 hours, and I was able to wear makeup without much difficulty the next day. By the end of the week, I noticed my skin had generally brightened and the roughness around my pores had decreased, while the minor blemishes were fading as I progressed into the second and third sessions. One aspect I particularly appreciated was that the clinic transparently provided records of the number of shots, energy levels, and spot areas for each session, and for post-care, they offered a calming ampoule and 10 minutes of low-intensity LED treatment to aid recovery. The waiting area and treatment room were clean, and the staff specifically guided me on sensitive skin care tips (adjusting the number of cleansings, using lukewarm water, avoiding harsh exfoliation), which made me feel confident in their expertise.
