This medication is used to relieve gastrointestinal symptoms such as heartburn and abdominal discomfort due to excessive stomach acid, upper abdominal bloating, dyspepsia, nausea and vomiting, stomach pain, and belching.
Dosage
Ages 15 and older: 2 tablets per dose, 3 times a day. Take between meals and at bedtime. Dose intervals should be 4 hours or more.
Precautions
It is recommended that this medication not be used in patients with very weak kidney function or those undergoing dialysis. Additionally, it should not be taken by children under 7 years old. It is important not to take this medication concurrently with tetracycline antibiotics.
