How to take

Adult dose

Administer 35 mg of risedronate sodium orally once a week. Since food interferes with the absorption of this medication, take it at least 30 minutes before breakfast or at least 2 hours before or after any food or drink. Precautions

This medication is an oral bisphosphonate, and it is used to strengthen bones. However, it can irritate the stomach and esophagus, so patients with esophageal diseases, gastritis, or ulcers should take it with caution.
