Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women in the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant at doses of vitamin A greater than 5,000 I.U. per day due to the risk of causing congenital malformations. Patients with vitamin A deficiency are exempt from this warning. If skin itching or gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea or vomiting occur after taking this medication, you should discontinue use. If symptoms do not improve after one month of use, stop taking the medication and consult a professional. People with allergies to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should not take this medication, and those with a history of allergies should be cautious. Patients with lipid metabolism issues, such as hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis should use this medication carefully. This medication contains a coloring agent called Yellow No. 5 (Sunset Yellow FCF), which may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Patients receiving treatment from a doctor or women in the early stages of pregnancy or planning a pregnancy should consult a professional before taking this medication. Notably, taking more than 10,000 I.U. of vitamin A per day in the three months before and after pregnancy may increase the risk of congenital anomalies in the fetus. If diarrhea symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication must be taken as prescribed, and supervision by a guardian is required when administered to children. Patients at risk of lipid overload should regularly check plasma lipid levels and adjust the dose accordingly. When using other injectable lipid preparations, the lipid content of this product must be considered in adjusting the dosage. When storing this medication, keep it in a tightly closed container away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.
