Effect of relieving vaginal inflammation (itching, burning)
This medication is used to relieve mild vaginal inflammation and alleviate symptoms of itching and burning.
Use once a day for 7 days How to use: 1) Remove the outer packaging and twist off the nozzle cap. 2) Carefully pour the povidone-iodine solution into the sky-blue tube bottle containing the diluent. 3) Twist the nozzle cap back on to close it. 4) Gently shake the bottle to mix the contents. 5) Stand the bottle upright, insert the nozzle about 3 inches into the vagina, and slowly squeeze the tube to spray the cleansing liquid.
This drug should not be used by anyone with an allergy to specific ingredients. Pregnant or nursing women should also avoid using this medication. It should not be used in cases of pelvic inflammatory disease or sexually transmitted infection symptoms. Individuals with thyroid function issues, especially certain thyroid diseases, should avoid using this medication. Patients with poor kidney function, neonates, or infants under 6 months are also advised not to use this product. Those with herpetic dermatitis or who are undergoing treatment with radioactive iodine should avoid using this medication as well. Patients receiving lithium treatment are advised not to use this product regularly. Using this drug with certain antiseptics, silver compounds, alkalis, or mercury-containing medications may reduce its effectiveness. Using this medication alongside enzymes used for wound treatment may nullify the effect of the enzymes. Since this drug has a bactericidal effect, it should not be used if pregnancy is planned and is also unsuitable for contraception or sexually transmitted infection prevention. It is also advisable not to use it for self-treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease or sexually transmitted infections. Care should be taken as this medication may act as an electrical insulator during electrosurgery. Severely ill patients or those with a history of thyroid disease should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. In cases of pelvic inflammatory disease or sexually transmitted infection symptoms, consultation with a specialist prior to use is also recommended. If symptoms such as pain, swelling, redness, itching, or excessive dryness occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a specialist. If there are severe allergic reactions, skin irritation, or rashes, stop using the drug and consult a physician. Caution is necessary as excessive use may lead to electrolyte imbalances or kidney dysfunction. Long-term or large-scale use may cause changes in thyroid function, so careful monitoring is required. When used as a vaginal cleansing liquid, there may be risks associated with pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility, or ectopic pregnancy, so seek specialist advice if symptoms persist. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water. After using soap, wash thoroughly before using this product to maintain effectiveness. This medication is for conservative treatment; if symptoms do not improve, consider other treatment methods. It is advisable to space the thyroid diagnostic tests and administration of this drug by 1 to 2 weeks. This medication contains iodine, so caution is needed for long-term or large-scale use regarding thyroid function abnormalities. Iodine can be absorbed through the skin so caution is necessary. This drug should not be mixed with other medications and the affected area should be washed and disinfected before use. If it comes into contact with clothing, wash immediately, as certain fabrics may require special washing methods. There have been reports of hypothyroidism in newborns when this medication is used, so caution is warranted. This medication may cause an increase in blood iodine levels. Overdosage can result in various symptoms, and professional treatment may be necessary if required. Keep out of reach of children and store away from direct sunlight.
