About This Treatment
Calf Botox is a procedure that relaxes the calf muscles (especially the gastrocnemius) to create a slimmer line, with effects usually appearing 2 to 4 weeks after treatment and lasting for an average of 3 to 6 months.
Botulinum toxin A suppresses the secretion of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, causing the muscles to contract and reduce.
