During my first visit, they did a simple questionnaire, followed by X-rays and oral photos, and they examined everything more carefully than I expected. In the consultation, they explained the current alignment of my teeth and bite issues, breaking down why braces were necessary in a way that was easy to understand. They compared different methods of braces, realistically explaining the pros and cons, duration, and costs, which helped me make a decision. I opted for a less noticeable option, and although it took a bit longer to attach the devices than I thought, the process itself wasn't very uncomfortable. The only downside was having to keep my mouth open for a long time, which was a bit tough. For the first couple of days after getting the devices on, I felt a bit of a foreign object sensation, and it was a bit uncomfortable eating, but I gradually got used to it. There was some pain, but it was manageable, and they had explained the precautions beforehand, so I was prepared. Overall, there was no excessive pressure to do anything, and they provided explanations throughout the process, which eased my anxiety. It's still early to talk about results since I'm just starting, but so far, I'm adapting well without any major issues.
