Because of gum disease, I had to have all my teeth extracted and get dental implants. I’ve been going there for about a year now, and they’ve placed 9 posts on top and 6 on the bottom. I go once every two weeks to have impressions taken, measure my jaw height, and have the screws loosened and tightened while they do various other things. Even though I’ve been going there for a year, the day before my appointment I still think, “Ugh… I really don’t want to go to the dentist.”

Starting with the last upper and lower molars on the left on May 30 of last year, the treatment was completed in January this year. Then, on February 11 this year, I restarted treatment for one last upper molar on the right, and it will be completed once the impression taken on September 22 is fitted. Since the bone depth on the right was shallower than on the left, there was a possibility that securing the implant could affect the tooth root, so I had another bone grafting surgery on the area where the initial groundwork had been done. Because it was the very back upper molar, the location was extremely difficult, but the revision surgery was carried out successfully. I’m grateful that a small comment led to a detailed examination, the problem was found, and the work was redone. Please also take good care of removing the stitches in two weeks, taking another impression in four months, and completing the implant tooth fitting.

I went to a hospital by chance, and there were so many elderly patients waiting in line. It was dark and gloomy with broken, greasy chairs and nurses who didn't seem to care. The elderly patients didn't seem to mind, though. This was at the Beauty Ocean Dermatology Clinic in Hanam.

This is a specialized dental hospital, and the staff on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors are friendly, with the best facilities and equipment. They use affordable implants (made in Korea) and started the treatment right away. Next week, I'm having bone grafting for the implant. The treatment costs are the cheapest in Pohang—50% cheaper than other dental clinics in Pohang. The prices are absolutely great! The director's skills are awesome! The facilities are top-notch!
