After having my eyes examined in a separate testing room, I moved to the consultation room next door and was seen by the doctor. I first explained my symptoms and what I was worried about, and the doctor figured out the cause, explained what it seemed to be, and also told me how it could be treated and how long recovery was expected to take. Even after that, I mentioned another concern that was still bothering me, and the doctor reassured me that it would be okay. Then they said, “But if it still hurts, I’ll fix it somehow!!!” That really made me trust them more, lol. I also liked that they didn’t push me to come back unnecessarily. If I ever need to visit an eye clinic again, I’ll definitely come back.

Recently, my eyes have been feeling heavy, and a red stye has formed on my eyelid. At first, I thought it would go down with time, so I tried to endure it, but as time went on, the pain got worse and there was even yellow pus coming out. So, I hurried to the ophthalmologist. The doctor examined me and said there was a lot of pus inside, and that they would need to make a small incision to drain it. Hearing that made me scared, but once they put in some numbing eye drops and did a local anesthesia injection on my eyelid, it wasn't as painful as I expected. The injection only stung a bit, and the whole treatment took less than 5 minutes to finish. I felt a heavy pressure when they were draining the pus, but once it was all done and I put on a patch, I actually felt relieved. After consistently using the prescribed eye drops and taking the oral antibiotics, the swelling went down and the pain subsided within a day. I appreciated the kind attention during the consultation.
