About This Treatment
The lens implantation procedure involves inserting a specially designed lens tailored to the patient's refractive error either in front of or behind the iris to correct vision.
It can correct from mild myopia to high myopia and astigmatism, aiding vision correction without damaging the cornea.
At Gangnam Central Ophthalmology, we utilize 3D diagnostic equipment and biometric nomograms to customize the lens size and position for each patient.
During the surgery, only a minimal incision of 2.0mm is made in the cornea to help shorten the recovery time.
