We came because of a yellow bump in her eye, and through the examination, we learned for the first time that she had quite a few oil glands that can cause dry eye. They weren’t very noticeable to the naked eye, so we had no idea until then, but realizing that they had been causing her dry eye made me feel like it was a good decision to come in for treatment. You could try dealing with it at home with a cotton swab, but rather than using such a risky method, I recommend having it done safely at a hospital ㅎ

6 days post-LASIK, no pain and daily activities are possible! It looks a bit wobbly and there is some glare, but I'm monitoring it as the recovery period is one month. ✌️ It seems good!

Lately, I've been feeling a sharp and dry sensation in my eyes. It felt like there was sand in them, and they were burning, my eyelids felt heavy, and I was really tired when I opened my eyes. Plus, the sharpness got worse when the wind blew. Having my eyes in that state was incredibly painful for me. So, I searched online for a good ophthalmology clinic and found Gangnam Central Ophthalmology. When I visited, both the doctor and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The doctor conducted a thorough examination and diagnosed me with dry eye syndrome. I ended up receiving IPL laser treatment. At first, I was scared and nervous about the IPL laser, but it turned out to be better than I expected. After the procedure, my eyes gradually started to feel better, and I was really happy about it.

After checking my eye, they found where the foreign object was and removed it. I was a little nervous during the removal since they had to touch my eye, but it was over much faster than I expected. Once it was done, the bothersome sensation immediately eased, and I felt much more comfortable. My eye still felt a little sensitive for a while after I got home, but it gradually returned to normal. It made me think that when something gets in your eye, it’s better to have it properly checked instead of rubbing it constantly. I was uncomfortable all day because of such a tiny foreign object, but after it was removed, I felt so relieved haha

Since I have a lot of cornea remaining, they said that LASEK is more suitable for my eyes instead of LASIK, so I proceeded with LASEK. There were no additional costs for the items specified in the event, but options like corneal strengthening surgery added about 40 more (it's optional, but I highly recommend the booster eye drops). After the surgery, it wasn't as painful as I expected, so I went home alone. I experienced pain from three hours after the surgery until the next evening, during which I cried continuously, but currently, on the third day, I feel no pain at all. They mentioned that it may take some time for my vision to stabilize, so I am keeping an eye on it, and everything seems to be going well.
