After injuring my foot in a fall, I went in for treatment because the pain got worse whenever I tried to put weight on it and walk. After I explained how I was injured and where I felt the pain, they checked the swelling and bruising on my foot and also looked to see whether it hurt when I moved my ankle and toes. I had an X-ray to check for any bone damage, and they explained why I needed to keep my foot immobilized based on the results. They then put a cast on the injured area to keep it from moving and told me to come in right away if the cast felt too tight or if my toes became numb or changed color. I was also told to avoid putting weight on my foot for the time being and to rest with my leg elevated to help reduce the swelling.

I went for treatment for my shoulder pain for 4 to 5 months, but there wasn't much improvement, which was disappointing. There were so many people, so I had high expectations, but it just didn't seem to work for me. The doctors are friendly, though.
