Today, my child had a really bad runny nose and even symptoms of gastroenteritis, so we visited our usual local pediatrician. I think one of the biggest advantages is that they offer appointments on weekends, allowing for urgent visits when needed. They also have a lot of holiday hours, so I can always count on them when my child is sick. The inside of the clinic is decorated in a way that makes it friendly for kids, so they don't feel scared; there's even a train-shaped toy and a play area where my child could play and not get bored while waiting. Thanks to this, it seems my child doesn't really dislike coming to the doctor, which eases my worries as a parent. The doctor also carefully examined my child's condition and explained everything kindly, which put my mind at ease. I think this pediatrician will be the one I turn to often whenever my child gets sick in the future.

The downsides are that they don’t offer IV drips and it feels a bit like they see patients in an assembly-line way. Still, it’s a convenient place to visit without any pressure when you have a mild cold.
