Yale Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic

I was having a strange feeling in my ear and it was uncomfortable, so I went in for a checkup. There were a lot of patients, and I had several different tests, but they said there was nothing wrong. Is this discomfort something only I can feel? Anyway, I’m glad they didn’t find anything wrong.

Yale is the best haha. Maybe because of the weather lately, my lingering cough and cold symptoms just wouldn’t go away, so I stopped by the hospital near my gym. I had been trying to tough it out while taking medicine on my own, but I finally decided I couldn’t keep going and dropped in on my way to work out on my day off. Maybe because I went early, I was checked in, waited briefly, and was taken in right away. The doctor examined my throat and listened to my chest, and when I said I’d like to get an IV infusion, they were happy to accommodate me~ The space where I received the IV was much cozier and cleaner than I expected, which I really liked. The lighting was soft and the bed was warm, so I think I fell into a deep sleep for the first time in a while while I was lying there. The nurse was so skilled that I could barely feel the needle going in. By the time I finished and left, the chills had definitely eased up, and my scratchy throat felt much smoother too.

I had been taking medication prescribed by another hospital, but my symptoms weren't getting any better. So, I went to Yale ENT, and while I was being examined, the doctor asked if there was anyone around me who had the flu. I said no, and then he called my name and suggested that I get some good IV fluids. I asked if it was time for the IV, and he said yes. After that, I received my IV and got a prescription for medication. I consistently took the prescribed medicine, and I felt a little better. He also advised me to drink plenty of warm water and keep my throat warm.

I went back to the hospital because my cough wasn't getting better. After looking at my consultation fee and realizing my symptoms were still present, the doctor asked if it was time for me to get an IV. I confirmed it was fine, and I was told to go ahead and get it. When I went to the payment area, I asked if they could print out some missing documents from my previous visit along with today’s, and they kindly provided the papers for me. I also had to lay down to get the IV, but they allowed those who could sit to come in, and the nurses spoke kindly as they helped me. I sat on a comfortable sofa chair while they administered the IV, explaining what the medication was for, and told me to let them know if I felt unwell. The nurses circulated around to check if the IV was going in well and after finishing the IV, they said to relax for about 5 minutes and remove the cotton after 30 minutes. I'm very grateful for how kindly the doctor and nurses treated me. The doctor’s name is Dr. Seon Jong-hwa. I received a week’s worth of prescriptions again this time.

I visited the hospital because I had a severe cough and runny nose.^^ I checked in and was waiting in front of the consultation room when a nurse called my name. The doctor asked what was bothering me, and I told him that my cough was bad, I had a lot of runny nose, and it was going down my throat and causing phlegm. During the examination, he checked my throat and said it looked fine, and that I shouldn't worry too much about the mucus going down. He took a photo of my nose and said it wasn't sinusitis yet. He gave me a shot and prescribed about five days' worth of medication.^^ At the check-in, I paid for the hospital visit and waited in front of the injection room until my name was called. After using hand sanitizer, I entered the injection room. The nurse asked for my name, and when I told her, she instructed me to lie on the empty bed inside. While I waited, the nurse asked for my name again and started the IV drip while explaining what medication was going in. The nurses checked on me frequently to ensure everything was going well with the IV. I received the IV drip and then headed to the pharmacy.^^ The doctor, nurses, and the staff at the reception were all very kind and treated me well!^^ I took the prescription to the pharmacy, handed it to the pharmacist, and while waiting, they called my name. They explained the ingredients of the medicine to me, and I received my prescription.~^^

The nurse at the reception asked for my name and date of birth, and then told me to wait in front of the doctor's room. After waiting there, the nurse called my name to come in. The doctor asked me how I was feeling, and I mentioned that I had a bit of a cough, a runny nose, and mucus in my throat. The doctor examined my throat and confirmed that mucus was still going down. He advised me to get an IV and leave afterwards. While waiting to pay, my name was called again, and the nurse asked if I had time for the IV. I said I was fine with the timing, made the payment, and then waited in front of the injection room. When my name was called, I sanitized my hands and went in. The nurse asked for my name again, and after I told her, she told me to lie down on an empty bed inside. I lay down and waited, and the nurse came in to set up the IV while explaining that it would help reduce my symptoms. She monitored me frequently to check if the IV was going well and if everything was going in properly. The nurses and the doctor were very kind during the treatment, and afterwards I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and returned home.

Every time the seasons change, my throat gets scratchy and I end up with a stuffy nose, so I finally decided to visit an ENT after suffering for a few days. At first, I thought it was just a common cold, but the symptoms didn't improve over time, and my voice became hoarse, making everyday life increasingly uncomfortable. After registering, the wait time wasn't long, so I was able to see the doctor without much stress. The medical staff asked thorough questions about my current symptoms and discomforts, which helped me feel comfortable during the consultation. During the exam, they carefully checked my throat and the inside of my nose, and they explained why I was experiencing these symptoms in a way that was easy to understand. They also pointed out lifestyle habits that could be worsening my symptoms, which was very helpful. I learned that dry environments and not drinking enough water could be contributing factors, which made me realize I need to manage my habits better. While taking the medication I was prescribed, I made sure to rest enough and followed the care instructions provided. After a few days, the scratchy feeling in my throat gradually diminished, and my nasal congestion improved significantly. Most importantly, the changes to my voice that had been so uncomfortable got better, making it much easier to carry out my work and daily activities.

From the reception desk to the doctor's examination, they are kind and provide detailed explanations. They carefully inform you about important instructions and give accurate prescriptions.

I was treated by Dr. Kim Cheon-kyu for an abscess near the right nasal cavity. I received IV fluids and a prescription for an inflammation ointment for my nose. The over-treatment was severe; I didn't have a cold, no fever, and wasn't coughing, yet he prescribed the same treatment and IV fluids to all patients who visited.

Yale ENT Clinic offers more than just ENT care—it also has Internal Medicine, an Eye Clinic, and more. The doctors are kind, so it's a place I visit often. I get better quickly after coming here, and they examine me very thoroughly, so I'm satisfied. The nurses are kind too. Even though it's a large hospital, the wait isn't too long, which is nice, and there's a parking lot, so it's convenient. I visited because I was coughing so much from a cold, but I got better and was able to trust them. I had a cough, but it really wouldn't go away. After visiting Yale ENT Clinic, my long-lasting cough finally got better. They don't prescribe an excessive amount of medicine, and they prescribe just the right treatment. If your cold isn't getting better, try visiting Yale ENT Clinic~ The doctor explained things well too, and I was very pleased.

I often go there to get my rhinitis medication. Medicine from other hospitals doesn't work very well for me.

Especially at night, my nose would be so clogged that I couldn't sleep well, and every morning my throat was sore, making it really uncomfortable in my daily life. Maybe because it’s an ENT specialty hospital, the process from registration to examination went smoothly, and they quickly checked my symptoms. During the consultation, they directly showed me the condition of my nose and whether there was inflammation in my throat, which made it easy to understand. After a few days of taking the prescribed medication, my nasal congestion and throat pain noticeably improved, so I was satisfied with the treatment results. However, there were times when the waiting time was long because there were quite a few patients, and especially with many kids in the waiting room, it could feel a bit noisy. Since the consultation moved quickly, I felt like there wasn't enough explanation about the causes of my symptoms or how to manage them in daily life. If you don't ask questions, the consultation can end quite quickly, which might leave you feeling disappointed if you were hoping for a more thorough discussion. It's fine if you're looking for quick treatment focused on symptom improvement, but if you want detailed consultation, it might feel a bit lacking for an ENT clinic.

I have sinusitis, and after catching a cold, it became uncomfortable to breathe, so I came to the hospital to get treatment for both the cold and sinusitis. After checking in, I got myself a cup of coffee, and while I was drinking it, they showed me to the consultation room. After receiving treatment and having my nose treated, it became much easier to breathe.
