After getting my health screening, I waited a week, received the results, and was told that the findings suggested a macular pucker and possible cataracts. So I visited The Brighter Eye Clinic in Suncheon, which is said to be pretty good, early Saturday morning for a follow-up exam. When I explained the screening results, I underwent a special examination. I had to wait through quite a few steps before the tests were done. The whole time, I was extremely worried, wondering what I would do if it turned out to be something serious. Once the tests were finished, I was assigned a doctor. The doctor reviewed the results and said there was no significant difference from the exam I had a few years ago and that everything was fine. Phew. Relieved, I asked why the screening had come out that way, and the doctor replied that perhaps the facility had been outdated.

I took my child in for a regular checkup. They have farsightedness and different prescriptions in each eye, so they wear glasses to keep it from getting worse, which makes regular checkups important. The doctor always examines them very carefully, so we come in every school break. Today, it was nice that we didn’t have to wait long.

They have both a LASIK center and a retina center. They also have a pediatric ophthalmology department, so you can get treated by specialists in various fields. I received a discount for students, so I got a good deal.

I went based on a referral from acquaintances. In my personal opinion, I don't think it was bad. There were a lot of people and parking was somewhat inconvenient, but other than that, everything was good.
