I had a consultation with Dr. Lee Sang-jun, and he explained everything step by step in a really kind manner. The nurses were also very nice, so I had a great first impression.

I've been feeling cold in my legs for a few years now, so I went to Seoul Samsung Hospital located in Shinbu-dong, Cheonan. When I told Dr. Kim Ik-hee that my legs felt cold, he said I needed to have an ultrasound. After about 20 minutes of the ultrasound, the doctor said it was just varicose veins and that it wasn’t severe, so I should wear compression stockings, take medication for two weeks, and monitor my progress. I asked if I could exercise while walking every day, and he said it was fine to walk for up to an hour. The hospital showed me how to wear the compression stockings, and I went to the pharmacy to get two weeks' worth of medication. When I got home, took my meds, and took the stockings off, my legs felt less cold. I really trust Dr. Kim Ik-hee. I’ll keep wearing the stockings every day and taking my medication, and I’ll go back to the hospital in two weeks. The hospital is clean, and the doctor and nurses are kind, which made me feel good.

Today marks two weeks since my first visit to Seoul Samsung Clinic, and I've come in for my second appointment. I'm checking in and the nurse tells me to wait because the doctor will see me soon. After about ten minutes, Dr. Kim Ik-hee comes in and asks how I've been. I tell him I've been wearing the compression stockings and taking my medication regularly, but my legs are still numb with no improvement. He does an ultrasound and confirms that I have varicose veins, and he says it could be due to my spinal stenosis as well. He prescribes me one more medication and asks me to take it for a month and to report back my symptoms. I got the prescription filled and came home to have dinner and take my medication. I really hope there will be some improvement this time. I'm determined to wear the compression stockings properly and take my meds on time. I hope the doctor’s prescription will help and that I'll see some positive changes.

Last month, I received a month's worth of medication for varicose veins at Seoul Samsung Clinic. After taking the medication, I visited Dr. Kim Ik-hee on July 3rd for a check-up, and he said I had improved a lot. He prescribed one compression bandage and another month's worth of medication. In other hospitals, they just give you a quick talk, but the doctor explained everything in detail, which made me feel good. When I arrived to check in, the nurse was kind and asked me to wait a moment since the doctor was attending to someone else. It felt like I was already getting better. Thank you, doctor and nurse!
