Seoul Su Eye Clinic

It’s a new ophthalmology hospital that has opened at the intersection near my house. It takes up three floors, and you can receive consultations, payments, and tests on separate floors. Many people among my family and acquaintances have been struggling with blurry vision, especially my mom, who has been having a tough time, so we’ve had her go through several tests. When I visited in spring, I was diagnosed with severe cataracts that required surgery, but making the decision for surgery isn’t easy, so I was indecisive for a while. However, I thought I shouldn’t delay any longer, and today I scheduled the surgery date with the doctor. Since my vacation period overlapped, I ended up scheduling the surgery for a later date, but the doctor was kind, the hospital facilities were excellent, and the explanations were easy to understand, which reassured me. I thought that if I ever notice any issues with my eyes, I should definitely come to this hospital.

Toward the end of the school vacation, I visited Seoul Su Eye Clinic near Beomgye Station to have my child’s eyes examined. Since the clinic had only been open for about a year, the inside was extremely clean and comfortable, so I had a good impression from the moment we walked in. Everything was well organized overall, and the relaxed atmosphere made it comfortable to wait there with my child. There were several doctors, but because there were many patients, we did have to wait a little. Even so, I got the feeling that they were being flexible with the appointments while taking each patient’s situation into consideration. They were kind during the consultation and carefully explained my child’s condition and the examination results in a way that was easy for me, as the parent, to understand, which I appreciated. The clean, comfortable facilities and kind, attentive care made this an overall satisfying visit.

My mother, who is very fearful and had repeatedly hesitated even about making an appointment, finally decided to have the surgery after watching many people she knew go through the process afterward, and she met Dr. Hwang. In a word, he was kind. Cataract surgery may be common among older people, but surgery is still scary, isn't it? He explained everything slowly, even giving examples so that older patients could understand well, which helped my very timid mother feel reassured. What I especially liked was that when it came to choosing a lens, he didn't simply recommend the most expensive one. Instead, he related it to my mother's situation and said that something in the middle range might be best. That actually made me trust him more. We plan to have her cataract surgery here in the future.
