Yonsei Eum Orthopedic Clinic

I woke up one morning with such severe pain in my neck that I couldn’t even move it, so I finally decided to visit an orthopedic clinic. It was my first visit, and the clean and tidy appearance of the clinic was nice; there were quite a few people even at that late hour. They have consultations until 7 PM and, on other weekdays, even until 8 PM, which seemed convenient for me to come after work for treatment. Since it was my first visit, I registered and then had an X-ray taken. After that, I went in for my consultation, and the doctor said I have some symptoms of a straight neck and that I might have a herniated disc. I wondered if the reason I’ve been feeling pain in my neck was because of that. For today, the plan was to get an injection to help reduce the pain a bit and see if we could try treatment. I was nervous about getting an injection in my neck, but it turned out to be not a big deal at all. They prescribed me medication for 7 days, and I want to keep up with the treatment to see some results.

A few years ago, I had surgery on one knee, and I was managing relatively well. However, recently, the other side started to hurt. I had no choice but to visit the hospital, and they advised that surgery would be more convenient. Not doing something wouldn’t help, and it was getting increasingly painful, so I decided to go ahead with the surgery here. A friend recommended this place after having a good experience, and even though it’s a bit far from home, I had to be admitted anyway, so I made the decision. They conducted tests well, explained things clearly, and the surgery went well. They said it turned out neatly and I am currently in rehab. I really appreciate how kindly they treated me.

I love that they even have appointments on Sundays. I think it's great that I can get all my procedures done here without having to go to a big hospital. The doctors are numerous and seem to provide great care.

It's great that they have consultations even on Sundays. It seems like there are several doctors, and they handle all types of surgeries, big and small, themselves.
