Medifium Clinic

Pangyo Medifium Clinic is a place for health check-ups. I think I've been getting my health check-ups here for about 10 years. The facilities are really nice. However, I feel like the doctor's skills are pretty lacking. A few days ago, I had a health check-up and they found a polyp in my colon, so they removed it. I was resting at home in the afternoon when they called to check if I was okay after the removal and told me to go to the emergency room if I saw blood in my stool. That evening, I went straight to the OOO emergency room due to abdominal pain and a high fever. The emergency room staff said my fever might be from the polyp removal, but they couldn’t be sure. The next day, when I called Pangyo Medifium, they said there was no problem on their end, and if it was due to the polyp removal, I should bring a doctor's note from OOO. I questioned how I could get a note from a place where the procedure wasn’t even done, and they said then they weren’t responsible. This clinic is just passing the buck. The facilities are nice, but when issues arise, they play dumb.

I had a health checkup at Pangyo Medipium Clinic. This time, I had a colonoscopy and they found one polyp, so I underwent a removal surgery. After coming home and resting, I received a call advising me that if the area where the polyp was removed hurt or if I noticed blood in my stool, I should urgently go to the emergency room. That night, I had stomach pain and a high fever, so I went straight to the emergency room of a nearby university hospital. The next day, when I contacted Pangyo Medipium, they claimed that the surgery went well and there were no problems, suggesting that it was my responsibility to handle any issues. While Pangyo Medipium has good facilities, it seems that the doctors lack skill. Also, when problems arise, they insist the surgery went well, claiming it's not their fault because I signed a consent form before the surgery.

This is the amount I paid after having one polyp removed during a colonoscopy. I only had one polyp removed, but... the cost is way too expensive. The facilities are good, but... everything else seems very lacking.

I always get nervous during health check-ups, but the staff were so kind that I was able to relax and get through it well.
